21 to 16…In 2024-25 Byrd (12 ppg.; 3rd Team All-PCL) continued to solidify his reputation as one of most accurate 3-point shooters in the state by draining 57 triples on the season while shooting 38% from behind thar arc. However, it was his improved off the dribble scoring and distributing skills that moved Byrd up our rankings. This season Byrd attacked the paint more frequently for lay-ins and floaters. He also proved that he could get paint touches and then execute kick outs or drop a pass to the dunker spot. Byrd also thrived at pushing the rock in transition and then delivering live dribble dimes to teammates. His ability to pass out of double teams was impressive too. Byrd's more well-rounded skill set pushed West Catholic to the 3A State title. Byrd dropped 20 points (2 3PM) in that 3A championship game victory.

58 to 45…This season Udowas the 6th man on a Westtown squad loaded with DI commits. Once he hit the floor, Udo (9 ppg.; 38 % from deep) served as a floor general who provided instant offense. For example, in late January Udo laced 4 triples on his way to 17 points during a win over Rocktop Academy. Udo also dropped 16 points (2 threes) on Mercersburg Academy. In addition to raining threes, Udo can create for himself off the dribble. Once he has gotten to the rim, Udo's creative finishing moves enabled him to score among the trees. As a bonus to his scoring, Udo is also a point guard who did a fantastic job of getting his teammates involved. Whether it was on the fast break or in the half-court, Udo's poise, quick decision making, and well-timed dimes produced easy buckets for teammates. On defense, Udo had a knack for picking pockets.

68 to 58…For Dolimpio, his stellar sophomore campaign will go down as his breakout stretch of play. In 2024-25 he averaged 12 points per game, popped 45 threes and was a 2nd Team All-Mid-Penn selection. Then in the post season, Dolimpio took his scoring contributions to another level. Across the Mid-Penn Conference, District 3 and 5A state playoffs (8 games) Dolimpio contributed 15 points per night. He scored a season high 25 points (3 triples) in CV's Mid-Penn title game victory over Trinity. This winter Dolimpio displayed an improved bag of dribble drive moves. So, when this speedy and athletic prospect was not splashing treys, he was getting to rim on the fast break as well as in the half-court. His ability to finish through contact is remarkable. At the other end of the floor, Dolimpio is a plus defender with active hands.

107 to 96…Hemmings is an agile, athletic, and bouncy wing prospect with tremendous upside. In 2024-25 Hemmings excelled in transition where his length and lift enabled him to finish over defenders. During his sophomore season Hemmings (9.4 ppg.) also showed that he could slash to the basket for hoops, snare tough rebounds for second chance points and score off straight line dribble drives. Plus, Hemmings knocked down the occasional spot-up three. His court vision and unselfish nature produced a host of creative assists too. On defense, Hemmings was a fierce weak side shot blocker and competed on the boards. His length and quick lateral movements made Hemmings extremely switchable. Hemmings will be a prospect to watch on the spring / summer grassroots circuit.
