The Prep Hoops Circuit hosted the Queen City Clash on Friday and Saturday at the Queen City Sportsplex in Cincinnati. Many of the best teams from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and the surrounding area came to get some games in before taking Easter Sunday off. As always, our team of Prep Hoops scouts had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer of the weekend. As we continue to crank out content from the event it is time now to highlight the All-Tournament teams. Here are the best of the best from the 17u age division at the Prep Hoops Queen City Clash.

Admittedly, I'm not nearly as familiar with prospects from Ohio as I am with those from the Hoosier state. Therefore, I don't recognize even some of the top prospects like this Brunswick High School product just by looking at them. However, it only took a few minutes of watching [program_tooltip program_id='2673282' first='Ohio' last='Basketball Club'] to recognize that Drexler was not only their best player but one of the top Class of 2026 backcourt prospects in the state of Ohio. The left-handed guard is so smooth and skilled with the ball in his hands and poured in scoring performances of 27 and 30 points over the weekend.

You would have a hard time finding a better pure shooter at the Queen City Clash than this [program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] - Brown prospect. The 6'3" guard out of New Albany High School in Ohio poured in six three-point shots in two different games that we watched over the course of the weekend. Ford has excellent footwork on the perimeter, a very quick release, and "in the gym" sort of range from beyond the arc. That shooting ability should make him an intriguing prospect this spring and summer in Ohio's Class of 2026.

Gilvin was excellent for the VIP Kings while playing against Wildcat Select. Despite playing up an age group, the Class of 2027 prospect from Trinity High School in Louisville was incredibly calm and smooth while competing against high level college prospect. The 6'3" guard scored 19 points in the game and proved that he is one to follow in the Class of 2027. Gilvin is very athletic, has good positional size, and is highly skilled on the perimeter. Look for his recruitment to potentially start to heat up going into this summer.

One of the top Class of 2026 point guard prospects in the country, Kinney showcased why he is a highly sought after high-major recruit. The floor general for Wildcat Select 3SSB, Kinney led his team to an undefeated weekend while displaying his high-level playmaking ability. He plays with outstanding body control, has an explosive burst when getting downhill, and hit some tough pull-up jump shots throughout the weekend. There was never any doubt that Kinney would be a First Team All-Tournament performer.

Even when college coaches aren't in the gym they are always watching. This unsigned senior is the perfect example of that. Taylor dominated around the basket on both ends of the floor for Wildcat Select 3SSB and ultimately earned an offer from Oregon coming out of the weekend at the Prep Hoops Queen City Clash. The 6'10" center is very mobile for his size, looked comfortable as a finisher above the rim, and made a consistent impact on the defensive end of the floor for the clear best team at the event.

A tough, hard-nosed guard out of Brunswick High School for [program_tooltip program_id='2673282' first='Ohio' last='Basketball Club'], Barnett was a consistent producer throughout the weekend at the Queen City Clash.
Foster is incredibly explosive as an athlete, dominant in transition, and had a ton of success attacking the rim off of the dribble throughout the weekend for Wildcat Select 3SSB. The 6'2" guard is a borderline Top 10 prospect in Ohio's Class of 2026 and was a big part of an excellent showing at the Queen City Clash for Wildcat Select. Foster is a high-level two-way backcourt prospect.

Another standout for [program_tooltip program_id='2673282' first='Ohio' last='Basketball Club'], the versatile 6'7" forward used his combination of size, athleticism, and skill to cause consistent matchup problems throughout the weekend.
On Saturday evening I watched this physical 6'5" left-handed win pour in 35 points for [program_tooltip program_id='2076263' first='NOVA' last='Village'] - English in a game against Team Step. Smith finished above the on multiple drives to the basket, created his own shot from the perimeter, and used his size to score through contact. Then, after the game, I was informed that he was just a freshman in high school playing up at the 17u level. That made his performance even more impressive.

Taylor was playing up a year, but still turned in one of the most impressive individual performances of the weekend putting up 45 points in a game at the Queen City Class.
