Ford is going to make shots no matter what team he’s on and I’ve seen him do that for Nova Village’s prep hoops circuit group as well as New Albany during the month of June. Ford has range that extends a few feet beyond the 3-point line. I have high expectations for New Albany this season and their depth of offensive talent with players like Ford is a main reason. It seems like their team has the necessary talent to surround Toledo commit

New Albany has a talented squad once again this season and Ford stood out as a solid complimentary piece who is ready to make a big impact as a senior. One of the top shooters in central Ohio, Ford knocked down some deep 3-pointers that came off spot-ups or pick and fade actions. Both games I’ve seen of New Albany this summer Ford has shot the ball with accuracy and confidence and that’s an easy way for him to stay on the court this winter as the Eagles look to make a conference and regional title push.

You would have a hard time finding a better pure shooter at the Queen City Clash than this NOVA Village – Brown prospect. The 6’3″ guard out of New Albany High School in Ohio poured in six three-point shots in two different games that we watched over the course of the weekend. Ford has excellent footwork on the perimeter, a very quick release, and “in the gym” sort of range from beyond the arc. That shooting ability should make him an intriguing prospect this spring and summer in Ohio’s Class of 2026.

We also wrote about Ford in our Saturday morning standouts article, but he was good enough in the evening that we had to double up. The 6’3″ sharpshooter connected on six three-point shots and scored 20 points, but NOVA Village – Brown came up short in a close one, 58-55, to Grand Park Premier.

High-level shooters are always in style and this 6’3″ guard from New Albany High School in Ohio has some serious catch-and-shoot ability. Ford connected on six three-point shots in NOVA Village – Brown 17u’s loss on Saturday morning to a very talented Wildcat Select 3SSB 17u squad. He has great footwork on the perimeter, a quick release, and serious range.
