<p>Now that the high school season is over and a new crop of state champions have been crowned at Gainbridge Fieldhouse it is time to look back and put a bow on the 2024-2025 season. Part of doing that is handing out our Prep Hoops Indiana awards. We've already awarded our class-by-class All-State teams which you can find via the links below. Earlier, we will highlighted our 2024-2025 Prep Hoops Indiana Player of the Year along with the First Team All-State selections. Now, we will dive into the Second and Third teams.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Cooper led Jeffersonville in scoring at 18.7 points per game as the Red Devils went on to win the Class 4A State Championship. He will continue his basketball career at Wright State. His impact on what ultimately became the best team in the state earned him a spot on Class 4A First Team All-State and here on the overall Second Team.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ertel turned his game up to another level in the tournament leading the Marauders to a Semi-State appearance. The Class of 2026 Purdue commit averaged 22.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game while shooting an impressive 73-163 (44.8%) from three-point range.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Anderson didn't make it out of the Sectional 9 gauntlet, but they had an outstanding season spending most of it in the Class 4A Top 10 and finishing 21-3 with two of those losses coming to Mt. Vernon (Fortville). King, a recent Tennessee-Martin commit, averaged 22.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.4 steals per game for the Indians.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Cathedral had the misfortune of playing Crispus Attucks right off the bat in Sectional play, but it was still an outstanding senior season overall for this Northwestern signee. Koehler averaged 16.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Though he was not named to the Indiana All-Star team, Konieczny lead South Bend St. Joseph to the Class 3A State Championship after finishing as the runner-up in 2024. The 6'4″ senior averaged 22.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting 74-199 (37.2%) from three-point range. He is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the senior class.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Barnes has led Fort Wayne Wayne to a lot of winning in his career. Named an Indiana All-Star and signed to play at the University of Indianapolis, Barnes averaged 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Fishers had won 43 consecutive games before falling to Jeffersonville in the Class 4A State Championship game. Kirby was a big part of that sustained success. The athletic freak and two-way star on the wing averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game on his way to being named to the Indiana All-Star team. Kirby will play at Miami (OH) next season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Murphy Jr finished his career as the all-time leading scorer at East Chicago Central High School. The 6'5″ unsigned senior wing averaged 22.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Cardinals this season. He was also named to the Indiana All-Star team.</p>
