Tyrece is one of the best scorers I've seen all weekend. He helped lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] to a pair of wins yesterday, knocking down deep threes, finishing in transition, and maneuvering his way to the rim off the dribble. Very deceptive with his change of speed on the ball, and has a quick release that allows him to catch defenders off guard with a pull-up jumper. Hagler averaged 15.1 ppg last season as a sophomore for Richfield, including 28 ppg over the last three games of the season, showing he's capable of putting big numbers on the board.

It took King a while to get going, but once he started playing with that motor we've seen from him at Hiawatha, he was able to take the game over. Defenders at the 16u level just weren't able to contain his combination of size, strength, and athleticism around the rim. He was able to get deep post position, and either spin to beat his man for a dunk, or just back him down into a baby hook at the rim. When King has eyes on the rim, you can bet he's going to try to throw down a powerful dunk, and he had a handful of them throughout the win over WOTN last night.

Rylan really helped spark the comeback for Real Phenom against Team FSA with his energy and effort. Even as one of the smallest guys on the floor, he was coming up with clutch offensive rebounds down the stretch to give his team extra chances to score. It was those consistent extra-effort plays that ended up making the difference for his team. Rylan has a quick first step and is dangerous as an isolation scorer, as he can hit shots from all over the floor. His effort on both ends was key in the comeback win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2124278' first='Isaac' last='Peterson'] was simply not letting his team lose last night against [program_tooltip program_id='2075808' first='Powerhouse' last='MN']. Anytime Powerhouse looked to make a run, Isaac was going right back at them with a bucket of his own. At 6'5 he spent some time out on the wing where he could stretch the floor as a shooter, but also ran some point, showing the ability to handle it under pressure well at his size. Fluid athlete who can get to the rim or pull-up for jumpers and connect over length. Had a highlight-reel play where he tossed the inbounds pass off a defender's back to himself for two points. Has the look of a prospect who could boost his stock substantially this spring/summer.

Abakar was in attack mode on Saturday morning against [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite']. He's a big, strong, and agile wing/forward who simply couldn't be stopped around the rim. Anytime he caught the ball, he was looking to attack the basket, showing a quick first step at his size, the ability to change direction off the dribble, and the body control to go up and finish through some contact. Flashed a bit of a mid-range game as well, able to hit shots over size with a smooth lefty jumper. He knows he's the biggest/strongest player on the court, and takes advantage of it every possession.

It's hard to believe that Xaviahn was playing JV games this past season. The 2027 guard continues to raise his stock just about every time he touches the floor, putting in a strong performance for Hoop Habits Elite on Saturday morning. The shifty guard was getting to just about any spot he wanted to on the floor, threading the needle to his bigs, knocking down mid-range jumpers, or getting all the way to the basket. He has quickness that a lot of guards can't match, sees the floor well, and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands.

Xavier helped lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] to a win in overtime against [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] 16u, ending the game with 23 points with five 3s. He's a high percentage shooter, has deep range beyond the arc, and a ton of confidence in his shot. Combine those three things, and you get a player who can put points on the board in a hurry. He did just that against Fury, hitting his first four shots for 11 points in just over four minutes of play to start the game. He then got hot again late in the game, giving his team a two point win in overtime.
