After a slow start to the game, Tyler found his groove in a rivalry win over Chanhassen, scoring his 1,000th career point in the process. Tyler did a great job at finding his teammates with well timed passes, hitting them right in the hands and allowing them to get straight into their shots. He excelled at getting into the lane, forcing the defense to collapse, and then kicking it out to the open man. When Tyler wasn't setting up his teammates, he knocked down a couple of threes, hung in the air for some tough finishes inside, and threw down a two handed dunk on his way to 23 points. Tyler was approaching triple-double territory with 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the win.

With JoJo Mitchell a bit below his typical scoring output, Julian provided the extra spark offensively for CDH against East Ridge. The junior guard was consistently finding pockets of space out on the perimeter to catch-and-shoot, and didn't miss much when he was left open from three. He may not look lightning quick, but Julian's change of speed allows him to beat defenders off the dribble and get into the lane to make plays. Has a soft floater to score over size but is at his best driving and dishing to an open man.

Despite not having traditional forward size, Jeremiah was dominant on the glass against Breck. At around 6'1-6'2, he has a strong frame and does a great job of putting a body on a man as a shot goes up. Multiple times he was able to rise up in a crowd for an offensive board and find a way to power back up for two points. Good body control to finish in traffic while taking some bumps. Jeremiah finished with 20 points in a revenge win over Breck while likely being in double-digit rebound territory.

Kolby would be up there in the "Breakout Player of the Year" chase for this season, going from 7 ppg as a junior to now averaging 25 ppg as a senior for Chanhassen. Despite picking up three early fouls and missing most of the first half, Kolby finished with 24 points against Chaska. He has a quick first step at his size, and when matched up with smaller wings/guards did a nice job of dribbling into a post-up and going to work from there. Does a nice job of using his long frame to extend and finish away from his body to avoid looming shot blockers.

Ty broke the 1,000 career point mark on Thursday night in a key conference win over East Ridge. The Nebraska commit got going early on, finishing with 25 points and 10 rebounds. His off-ball movement was key as he was often beating defenders with hard cuts leading to easy finishes inside. On the ball he was able to get into his mid-range jumper at times for a couple of tough makes off the dribble. Really competitive player who goes out and competes on both ends of the floor, and just wants to win games.

Kalin is a bruiser of a wing for Chaska. At 6'4 he's not afraid to catch on the wing and just bully his way past defenders to get to the basket. Chaska puts out a lineup with size all over the floor, meaning Kalin will often have an advantage of height and weight on his defender. His shot selection makes him a very efficient scorer, as he's either getting straight to the rim or taking a wide open jumper. This allowed him to score his 21 points on 7-9 shooting from the field, including 2-3 from three. Versatile defender who can switch out and guard almost every spot on the floor.

Despite the loss to Minneapolis North, JP was doing everything he could to try to keep his team in the game. The 6'6 wing/forward was stretching the floor from three, finishing through contact inside, taking a defensive rebounds and pushing the break, and moving his feet with smaller players out on the perimeter. Defensively he was able to block/disrupt a handful of shots around the rim, doing a nice job of walling up to contest without fouling. This was the best I've seen JP play in the past year, finishing with a game high 28 points on Wednesday night.
