Wood was a blast to watch this weekend. He brought non stop energy to the court and was all over the place on defense. Anytime a play needed to be made, he was right there making it happen. He went all out diving for loose balls and did all the gritty work down low that doesn't always show up on the stat sheet. His positioning for rebounds was spot-on, and he stayed super active when opponents drove the lane—always keeping his hands moving and poking the ball loose. He was just one of those guys who made an impact everywhere

Halas really made the most of his time on the court. He was super active and constantly in his opponent's face, never giving them a moment to relax. His quickness stood out, and his footwork was on point—he wasn't getting beat off the dribble. Anytime someone got a little too loose with the ball, Halas was right there to snatch it. What really stood out was just how involved he was—always switching on defense, staying locked in, and keeping his hands moving. He was just relentless with the energy displayed out there

Thompson-Sellars was a handful for opponents all weekend thanks to his size and presence down low. He had great body control in the paint and used his long arms to really make an impact. Driving the lane wasn't easy with him around—he was right there going up strong, forcing tough shots and getting deflections. He swatted a few shots, too, just to top it off. What really stood out was how he attacked the glass. He was rising over everyone to snag rebounds and shut down second-chance looks. He was just a big-time presence on both ends

Ramey was an absolute defensive wizard this past weekend. His effort and energy were off the charts, and opposing teams just couldn't figure him out. He played smart, always seemed to be one step ahead, and had a great feel for reading passing lanes—he jumped a bunch of plays that turned into easy transition points. Where he really stood out was in his one-on-one defense. The guy he was guarding could barely got a clean look off all tournament. Ramey forced them to give the ball up instead of attacking the rim or pulling up for a jumper. He was just really locked in from start to finish

Chavez put on a clinic with his on ball pressure all tournament long. He was relentless on closeouts and never gave up an inch, making it tough for anyone to beat him off the dribble. What really stood out was how sharp he was when the ball got swung around the perimeter—he'd switch off in a flash and lock down whoever got it next. Whether it was straight man-to-man or helping out in a double team, Chavez was constantly causing chaos. He racked up multiple steals and forced a bunch of bad passes just by staying active and reading the game perfectly
