The [program_tooltip program_id='2830096' first='Upward' last='Stars Gold'] squad claimed a victory with just 6 players here today. [player_tooltip player_id='2078979' first='D'Marcus' last='Thomas'], [player_tooltip player_id='2447621' first='Jayden' last='Crews'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2537666' first='Jaden' last='Rivers'] were not in attendance.

Marion wing [player_tooltip player_id='2307830' first='Charles' last='White Jr'] led the way with 15 points. White a lengthy and rangy wing player had no problems getting to the cup vs the Mint Hill Lakers here today. Charles was able to set his feet and connect on some shots from downtown here today also for [program_tooltip program_id='2830096' first='Upward' last='Stars Gold'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1824185' first='Jordan' last='Jenkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1972148' first='Justus' last='Bell'] both scored 10 points respectively with their play around the bucket. Jenkins and Bell both look to slash and stalk the baseline at times. Both players connected on some short mid-range jumpers. Jenkins attends Conway HS while Bell attends Dutch Fork HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='1487224' first='Zeke' last='Clyburn'] was able to drop a floater and when he wasn't taking the ball coast to coast today. Clyburn is a bit of hybrid on the floor with his position. He brings results whenever on the floor that's for sure. Zeke attends Andrew Jackson HS.

Will Robinson and [player_tooltip player_id='2394115' first='Johnston' last='Abrams'] rounded out the roster here today for the [program_tooltip program_id='2830096' first='Upward' last='Stars Gold']. Robinson is an undersized post player who plays at the Christ School in Arden, NC. Will a Georgia native brings plenty of muscle and willingness to be a mover-screener on the floor. Abrams attends Spartanburg HS. Johnston plays quick up the floor with the ball in his hands. He does a great job of keeping it low to the deck.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] Duo:

[player_tooltip player_id='2143673' first='Oliver' last='Coleman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2149144' first='Terrion' last='Mack'] stood out today while in attendance here in Rock Hill. Coleman who attends Lugoff-Elgin HS really showed a great 1st step to blow by defenders here today on the way to the bucket. Oliver was able to finish from the left-side of the rim while showing good quicks. He really did a nice job of playing both ends of the court with a full-out effort at all times.

Mack saw plenty of minutes this past season at Blythewood HS for Head Coach Zeke Washington. Terrion does a nice job of changing speeds to get by defenders. He was able to touch the paint and get into the gaps when he wanted at times. Mack was able to shake and bake at times while keeping the rock on a string.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] 15U Fall to [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 15U:

[player_tooltip player_id='2559342' first='Jahlil' last='Jenkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2359060' first='Auri' last='Taylor'] did their best to keep Upward Stats Columbia 15U in the game. The duo led the team in scoring with Jenkins collecting 24 points and Taylor added 12 points.

Jenkins who attends Westwood HS was instant offense at times today with his play. He was able to set up his teammates with some good looks along the way. He was able to drop some runners in the lane when he wasn't dialing up from long distance. Jahlil played with a good deal of confidence while on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2359060' first='Auri' last='Taylor'] a left-handed guard attends Lakewood HS (Sumter). Green plays the game at a very high skill level and just brings productivity to the table. Ashton attends Quality Education Academy and finished with 20 points in the win today.

Mahkai Manning is very athletic point guard from Chapel Hill HS.
