Oliver Coleman Oliver Coleman 6'1" | PG Lugoff-Elgin | 2027 State SC is a veteran of Prep Hoops’ Camps and is signed up for The Expo after a strong showing at the Freshman Showcase last year. I was impressed by Coleman this Summer with Upward Stars Columbia and I feel that his defense could be a standout attribute on Sunday. Coleman has good postional size and length and can even switch onto bigger wings. On the offense end, Oliver is best in attack mode with a good handle and nice finishing attributes.

Upward Stars Columbia has a very talented 2027 group and Oliver is the first of three standouts from their squad. He does a little bit of everything on the floor but his ability to turn defense into offense stood out the most. He is very active on the defensive end, jumping passing lanes, corraling ball-handlers, and cleaning the boards. On the offensive end, he is a terrific passer and looks to set up teammates frequently. He had a stat sheet-stuffing game on Saturday Afternoon putting up 4 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and a block.

Coleman was another standout name for Team 6 with his prowess with the ball and defensive ability. He was another shifty presence in the Team 6 backcourt who showed he could maneuver to the painted area and finish through contact again and again. Defensively, he’s got untapped potential given his length and ability to defend multiple spots with his athleticism. He’s a name to keep track of at Lugoff Elgin High in SC.
