How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High-IQ athletic lefty PG/SG with elite floor-spacing ability and a dynamic shooting touch. Crafty scorer who attacks the paint effectively and finishes through contact. Excels at playing off the ball, creating movement opportunities, and controlling the tempo and flow of the game. Strong decision-maker with a polished feel for the game and the ability to impact winning in multiple ways.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Dedicated gym-first athlete with a relentless work ethic and a constant drive for improvement. Committed to developing every aspect of my game by continuously adding new tools, refining skills, and finding ways to elevate my performance. Brings a growth mindset, competitive mentality, and strong passion for the process of becoming better every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Developed into a strong leader who motivates and encourages teammates while creating a positive competitive environment. Firm believer in teamwork and making the extra pass, understanding the value of turning a good play into a great play. Also committed to giving back to the game by helping local recreation teams during practices and supporting the development of younger athletes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Earned the opportunity to play varsity basketball as a rising 9th grader during the summer. Although playing time was limited early on, continued to stay prepared, work hard, and prove I belonged at the varsity level. As the summer progressed, gained the trust and confidence of the coaching staff, which led to increased opportunities and a larger role on the team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for any college that believes I am a great fit for their program.

Rounding out the list with two youngsters to know, Jaden had a pair of impressive shooting displays for Lugoff-Elgin today. He knocked down 3 threes in game one against McBee and followed it up with a pair of them against Fairfield Central. The lefty is one of the best shooters in the rising sophomore class, but he also flashed some strong traits defensively and with crafty finishing at the rim in both games. The Blue Demons have a very young team, so expect some growing paints, but Thomas certainly has the potential to be a great player down the line.

Checking in right behind Reiser at #61 is Thomas. Jaden is one of two Lugoff-Elgin Blue Demons in the Prep Hoops South Carolina Class of 2029 Rankings, and they should be excited about the future of that group. Despite his age, Thomas has a good feel for when to catch and shoot or when to attack a closeout, plus he’s developing the ability to make his teammates better.

Rounding out the list is a new 2029 to know, Jaden Thomas Jaden Thomas Jaden Thomas 6'0" | PG/SG Lugoff-Elgin | 2029 State SC . Thomas is a confident scorer at all three levels, and for his age, he has a really good feel for playing around bodies and finishing off two feet in the paint. When Jaden gets hot, he can go for big numbers, as he had multiple 20-point games in Rock Hill this weekend.
