While we've ranked 25 prospects in this update, we again want to note that we view this more as a 25 Prospects to Watch list and not a definitive ranking of the class's Top 25 prospects.

With that in mind, here are five ranked 2028 prospects to keep an eye on this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571895' first='Lincoln' last='Malcore']

Malcore, a big man at Kents Hill, impressed in Maine this winter with his ability to score around the rim on one end, while protecting it on the other. At 6'9", he has terrific positional size and while he's not an elite vertical athlete, he does have some pop in his legs that he utilizes as a finisher and shot blocker. What stands out early on are his hands and his ability to catch almost anything thrown his way. He has a huge catch radius, shows the ability to score turning over either shoulder, and stands out with his rim running.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571909' first='John' last='Ramos']

Ramos, a product of Central, burst onto the scene in Rhode Island this winter, ultimately finishing the season with an all-state selection. A 6'1" combo guard, he's lean but doesn't lack strength. He plays with high energy and a strong competitive fire, showing this he's not afraid of the moment. He competes on the defensive end of the floor and generates plenty of steals with his quick hands and feet. Offensively, he's already a standout that knows how to get to his spots off the bounce and plays with a scorers mindset. He's got a clean shooting stroke, good burst as a driver, and the ability to finish with creativity around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571904' first='Aidan' last='McGrath']

McGrath, a forward out of North Quincy, shined in his first season of high school basketball, helping his team to an 18-2 regular season record and earning Boston Herald All-Scholastic recognition along the way. The 6'6" lefty already presents difficulties for opposing defenses with his versatility and inside-out skillset. He has the athleticism needed to finish plays above the rim, shows off a smooth shooting stroke from behind the arc, and plays with impressive fluidity in transition. While his scoring stands out already, he's also an impressive defender that rebounds at a high rate and protects the rim from the help side.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832762' first='Wiji' last='Dak']

Dak, a wing from Bedford, was a starter for the NHIAA Division 1 state champions this winter, averaging over 12 points per game. Physically, he doesn't look like a freshman, standing 6'3" with broad shoulders. He's a good athlete that has impressive burst when he gets downhill, already proving to be a quality finisher around the rim. He perimeter shooting improved throughout the season and only helps to make him tougher to defend on the perimeter. Where he can be really good is on the defensive end of the floor, as he's tough, competitive, and quick laterally.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421244' first='Leo' last='Fauver']

Fauver, a wing at the Hotchkiss School, makes his mark on the game with versatility on the offensive end of the floor. He's an incredibly long 6'5" wing that scores behind the arc and at the rim. While the shot is a little unorthodox, he gets in and out of it quickly and has a consistent release point. He already does a nice job of leveraging his shooting to open up driving lanes and shows a good feel for the game off the bounce, playing at different speeds well and showing the ability to quickly change directions. As he gets stronger, his game should only continue to grow.
