Every time Davis plays, he ends drenched in sweat. Because he only knows one speed, GO, GO, GO. If it was possible he was added an extra GO to his play against Owasso. Especially down the stretch. His first step is lightning fast and he has explosiveness at the rim. Along with a good floater. Finished with 20 hard earned points, an iconic upset and a reward of a semifinals game on Friday.

Speaking of hard playing seniors, Gunn also delivered in the clutch for his Redhawks. Their offense was a struggle for much of the first three quarters, but Gunn finally helped them break through. Then it was his clutch free throw shooting that won the game for Union, sending them to the semifinals.

To win three games at State, it takes all hands on deck. For Broken Arrow on Tuesday, it was Wallace who stepped up with crucial jumpers in the second half. He was one of three Tigers in double figures, and his 12 might have been the most pivotal. Wallace is a great example of how even with a key injury, Broken Arrow might have the deepest squad at State. As they have seven different players who can hit double figures.

As a freshman, Hankins played in the 6A State Title game. If Tuesday night was any indication, he might finish his career in the title game too. Scored a team high 19 points, while also playing amazing defense (4 steals) and handing out 6 assists. Complete guard, who clearly has the big game gene.

Sage was the dominant force in Weatherford's win. With 13 points in the first half and 11 more in then third to close out the third. His 11 in the third were of the showtime variety. Smooth triples and powerful dunks. One of the most complete players in Oklahoma. The Drake commit has been a monster this season and is one step closer to the State Title.

With three State Titles to his name, Nickens is on the hunt to close out the Big House with a fourth. On Wednesday morning he was on the hunt for dunks, as he assaulted the rim with regularity and ferocity. Ended up with 23 points on only 12 field goal attempts. One of one athlete, as he was too fast and too strong. At times going around or through multiple Irish defenders.

Athletic senior, who perfectly captures the impact football players have to change games in March. He's strong as a bull and was the best athlete on the floor. Will flush it when given room in transition. And do whatever is required for a win. This time, it was scoring. As he used his strength to punish defenders off the dribble. Finished with 23 points, including four straight free throws in the final minute that took NRC from down 1 to up 3. The clutch free throws speaks to the gamer mentality Hawkins brought to the game.

Full stat line for the junior. 17 points (5! threes!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Unofficially he didn't have a block, but the camera doesn't lie and he did have a swat where he made a good recovery after being beat while covering on the ball. It was kind of the perfect showcase for the type of season the junior has had. Buckingham will knock down threes, have some moments of creation, and is getting after it more and more on defense. He did all of that and more in helping Crossings to another State Tournament semifinals appearance.

The crafty guard, with elite handles went out with 24 points. Lived at the rim, with a killer crossover that broke ankles and kept defenders on their heels. At the rim, he has good hangtime, long arms, allowing him to seemingly always find that extra bit of space or time to get off a shot. The ending was bittersweet, but it was a memorable playoff run for Bethany's all time leading scorer.

It's not easy to score against Crossings, but Scott found his spots and finished with a team high 15 points. On Wednesday morning, his spots were in the mid-range. As the eastern Oklahoma guard has a very nice old school pull up game. Had an empathic "And 1" finished in the third as well. Strong sophomore campaign for the crafty lead guard, setting the stage for a busy spring and summer.
