New England’s Updated 2025 Rankings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The page has officially closed on the 2024-2025 baseketball season in New England as this past weekend state champions were crowned in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, with title winners previously being decided in Maine and Vermont.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And, as the winter season gives way to the spring travel season, it's time to take one last look at our rankings for the <em>Class of 2025</em>. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This will be the final rankings update for the <em>Class of 2025</em>, putting a bow on what has been a fantastic four years of basketball for this group in New England!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As has been the case for quite some time now, the <strong><em>#1</em></strong> spot belongs to [player_tooltip player_id='2317299' first='Dwayne' last='Aristode']. The consensus <em>Top 30</em> prospect was terrific this season at <em>Brewster Academy</em> and will next head to the <strong><em>University of Arizona</em></strong>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is no change at <strong><em>#2</em></strong> or <strong><em>#3</em></strong>, as those two spots continue to belong to [player_tooltip player_id='1106063' first='London' last='Jemison'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2317310' first='Keyshuan' last='Tillery']. Jemison showed out this winter for <em>St. Thomas More</em> and heads to the <strong><em>University of Alabama</em></strong> as one of the nation's top scoring wings. Tillery proved to be among the country's top point guards while finishing his career at <em>New Hampton</em> and will continue his career at the <strong><em>University of Cincinnati</em></strong>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1529071' first='Jaylen' last='Harrell'] slides into the <strong><em>#4</em></strong> spot in the final rankings. The <em>CATS Academy</em> wing will play at <strong><em>Providence College</em></strong> next season and was a two-way star in his final season of high school basketball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rounding out the <em>Top 5</em> is [player_tooltip player_id='2341272' first='Ben' last='Ahmed']. The <em>Putnam Science Academy</em> big man checks in at <strong><em>#5</em></strong> and capped off his high school career with a <em>National Prep Championship</em> before heading off to <em><strong>Oklahoma State University</strong></em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As it stands, 24 of the <em>Top 25</em> prospects in New England have announced their future plans; in fact, only three of the <em>Top 35</em> in these rankings remain uncommitted at this point in time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In all, 250 prospects have been ranked in our final rankings reveal for the <em>Class of 2025</em>, with another 255 appearing on the <em>Watch List</em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All six New England states are represented in these rankings, with prospects coming from the NEPSAC, Power 5, and each individual state association.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Positionally, these rankings feature 33 <em>Point Guards</em>, 45 <em>Combo Guards</em>, 44 <em>Shooting Guards</em>, 48 <em>Small Forwards</em>, 46 <em>Power Forwards</em>, and 34 <em>Centers</em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keep an eye on the site throughout the week as we highlight the Top 10, Newcomers, Risers, and more!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
