Yesterday, I attended Zero Gravity's College Night at Mass Premier in Mansfield, MA. 10 teams competed in 20-minute, running-time games, and they each played three total games on the night.

As always, it's impossible to see every play, but these are just my impressions from trying to watch as much action as possible from both courts.

Sirabionian was impressive yesterday as Connecticut Focus' best penetrator and offensive weapon. The 6-foot-4 guard has really solid positional size and strength and is able to use it to get to the front of the rim consistently. He drives in a straight line in transition and is tough to stop with a head of steam. Once he gets paint touches, the unsigned senior shows flashes of really solid passing vision and feel, but he also had a good number of turnovers and some sloppy play. Sirabionian is coming off a state championship and should definitely be able to find a D3 fit, but it's getting late.

Scaramella doesn't look like a college player when you first enter the gym, but the 6-foot-3 wing has skills. He won't wow you with great speed, quickness, or athleticism, but he shoots the lights out from deep and makes great decisions for himself and his teammates. He's excellent at driving closeouts and then does a great job making simple, smart decisions once he touches the paint—he's decisive and unselfish. Scaramella will fit into any offensive system because of his ability to space the floor and play the right way. Some added strength would be massive for his college hopes, but he should find a D3 fit.

Maynard had a nice night last night and showcased his feel for the game and scoring/facilitating chops. The 6-foot-1 guard isn't overly athletic, but he does a really good job using on-ball screens and maneuvering in the paint to get good looks for himself and his teammates. The lefty has a solid feel for the game and nice stop-and-go moves, but he can also make shots from the mid range and three, which forces defenses to always have a hand up. Maynard needs to get stronger and more athletic, but he could definitely get some D3 looks when the time comes.

Arthur shot the lights out yesterday. The lefty from NH does a good job running the floor and moving without the ball, so he creates lots of open looks for himself as a result of his conditioning, athleticism, and motor. The lefty is always on-balance and has a confident stroke—he might've had the best three-point percentage in the gym yesterday. Arthur is also a strong-bodied kid and is super disciplined defensively, so he can guard bigger players and smaller players alike. He'll need to continue to improve his off-the-dribble game, but he should be able to find a D3 fit, especially if he gets another year at a prep school.

This was my first time seeing Fiske play in person, and I was super impressed with his ability to run the point guard position confidently and effectively. Although the 6-foot guard doesn't have great size, he makes really nice reads in the pick and roll and is a phenomenal passer. He threw one lefty no-look pass in transition that totally wow'd me, and he made consistently simple reads throughout the night. Fiske needs to get more athletic and stronger, but the mental side of the game is there right now.

Honorable Mentions:

Ethan Ackom, 6'6 SF, 2026, CATS Academy/The Club

Ackom has impressive physical tools and athleticism—the 6-foot-6 wing had numerous dunks and even hit some threes from the outside. But he needs to improve his conditioning and motor, because a guy his size could make a massive impact on the boards and defensively if he was truly locked in. Ackom has tons of tools and potential, he just has to put it together.

Damola Oremosu, 6'4 PF, 2026, Toll Gate HS/RI Magic

Oremosu does all of the little things for RI Magic and impressed me with his motor and skillset. It might not look super aesthetically pleasing, but he can knock down shots from long range and had numerous effective closeout drives. Oremosu can also guard up because of his fight and toughness. He should find a D3 fit.

Luke Gendron, 5'11 CG, 2028, Sanford HS/XL Thunder

Gendron shoots the leather off the ball and oozes confidence. He can score at all three levels and is comfortable handling the ball against lots of pressure. He just knows how to play the right way and will make a college coach happy when the time comes. Bright future ahead for the sophomore who was one of XL Thunder's best players yesterday.

Zade Garron-Ciberay, 6'3 SF, 2027, Plymouth South HS/Breakout Basketball

Garron-Ciberay is a super tough competitor who does whatever it takes to win. He'll muscle up against big men in the paint but will then beat you down the floor for rim runs. But he'll also defend guards on the perimeter and will still fight for rebounds. He needs to improve his offensive skillset but the physical tools and motor are there.
