Arthur shot the lights out yesterday. The lefty from NH does a good job running the floor and moving without the ball, so he creates lots of open looks for himself as a result of his conditioning, athleticism, and motor. The lefty is always on-balance and has a confident stroke—he might’ve had the best three-point percentage in the gym yesterday. Arthur is also a strong-bodied kid and is super disciplined defensively, so he can guard bigger players and smaller players alike. He’ll need to continue to improve his off-the-dribble game, but he should be able to find a D3 fit, especially if he gets another year at a prep school.

Arthur, a wing out of Hollis-Brookline High School in New Hampshire, played a major role in his team’s run to the NHIAA D2 state championship. The 6’2″ wing was the leading scorer for Hollis-Brookline, averaging 17.0 points per game this winter. A lefty, he has the ability to make shots in bunches from behind the arc and does a nice job of operating as a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He shows good vision in transition and is capable of playing through contact as a driver. Defensively, he can guard up and down a position and does a nice job of reading the ball off the rim to chase down defensive rebounds.

He’s quickly established himself as one of the top scorers in the NHIAA, regardless of class.
