Day two started off with back-to-back overtime games and gave us one more later in the day when a near three-quarter court heave rimmed out for Mt Spokane. Needless to say, it was an eventful day, so let's take a look at some of the day two game MVPs and give some shine to the players leading the way.

He picked up the scoring while their top guy had an off night, and it proved to be the difference in a 2-point win over Camas to get them into the semifinals. He was money with several faders around the foul line and consistently got a solid bump on his defender to get space and score from his spot. He finished with 16 points to lead the Grizzlies.

The clear MVP in both of their games at the Dome, Johnson put up 26 points in the loss to top-seeded Gonzaga Prep and did just about all he could, scoring over half of the Trojans' points. He poured in four more threes in this one to go along with eight boards and two steals. Johnson showed some elite shot-making against scrappy guards and really took over in the fourth to force an overtime session.

The senior guard was ultra-efficient in the win over Richland, totaling 22 points on 7-of-11 from the field and chipping in six assists, five rebounds, and three steals. He was really in rhythm and picked up a pretty quiet 22 points, just getting to his spots, mixing up his attacks with his playmaking, using his patience to read the floor, and continued to stay a dual threat through every possession.

Another game and another electric [player_tooltip player_id='1696693' first='Drew' last='Jones'] performance. He has the state on notice right now as they head into a semifinal matchup with West Valley today. He's so explosive in and out of his moves, he shoots down lanes, can handle contact, and has been a true leader for Puyallup this season. He finished with 33 points, five 3PM, three rebounds, and three assists in the win over Mount Si.

Hiatt had a dominant performance in a big 73-36 win over Lincoln. It was clear he had the physical advantage over the younger Abes, and he went right to work. He attacked the paint all night, was strong and explosive off of two feet, mixed up his speeds and the timing of his attacks, and was a technical bruiser on his way to 33 points and 14 rebounds while going perfect from the foul line (10/10 FT).

It wasn't as efficient a performance as his first game in the Dome, but Ghoreishi came alive when it mattered most and delivered another win for Mt Spokane. Bellarmine held him and the rest of the Wildcats in check for most of the game, but Ghoreishi flipped a switch in the fourth quarter and led a comeback that resulted in an overtime win. He finished the night with 19 points and 12 rebounds while coming up huge at the foul line (11/11 FT).

Roy came out firing in their win over Bellevue and showed everyone watching he has one of the smoothest shots from distance when he is feeling it. He lit it up from deep, going 4-of-5 from behind the arc on his way to 18 points. He always contributes great perimeter defense and was able to pull down seven rebounds in the win as well.

Speaking of shooters, Morris may have put on the most impressive shooting performance of the first two days with his lights-out shooting last night. He went 7-for-9 from 3-point range and led the Vikings with 25 points in the win over Seattle Prep. He also found some burst in transition and worked his way to the foul line to go 4-of-5 at the stripe.
