Tied it up to end the third quarter with a coast to coast finish, that was sparked by his defense at the rim. Went for a very impressive 14 point and 15 rebound double double. His baseball and QB background was on display with his vision and cannon of an arm for on the money outlet passes. All around winning display for the northeastern Oklahoma standout.

Forsythe continues to write his own book this year as the primary scorer for a Dale squad seeking their fourth straight State Title. Hit a couple early threes to silence the crowd. Then when the lead was as narrow as three in the second quarter, he was the Pirate to step up and score a couple tough buckets to give them breathing room at the half. Finished with a game high 23 points on 13 field goal attempts. Complete guard, who also made some big time passes on drives. The pressure only ramps up from here and Forsythe looks up for the fight.

For other teams, Edmondson might need to score more. Still when he does score for Dale, they're impactful and needed points. After a sluggish second quarter saw Dale start the second half with a narrow lead by their usual standards; it was a pair of threes from the senior PG that silenced any chance of a comeback. Including a nice hesi pull up. His scoring was a key part of a 18-0 run to start the second half. Finished with 10 points and added another win to his illustrious career of winning.

Need a rebound? Ask Higdon. Need somebody to slide over and take a charge? Ask Higdon. First to the floor for a loose ball? Ask Higdon. The blue collar senior has been doing the dirty work for Dale for years now, and was a focal point of their offense in the first half. Putbacks, bruising finishes and even a free throw line jumper. He's often an unsung hero on a team filled with college standouts, but the baseball-basketball standout is a very vital part of their success. He had 13 points and 7 rebounds, much of it coming in the first half.

In an exciting second quarter, Mitchell and his Wildcats showed no back down. The junior in particular, cooked Dale's tough defense off the dribble. Good deceptive handles, got to the rim and hit tough pull up jumpers too. Finished with 21 points, 14 of them coming in the first half. Season may have came to a close, but it was a productive State Tournament appearance for Mitchell. Who will be hungry to help Cashion return next year.

Tied for team high 15 points. Played with a brace on his right shoulder aka his shooting shoulder. But couldn't tell with the big threes he hit during the clutch fourth quarter run that helped Fairland win. Seniors playing with urgency and grit often swing games at the State Tournament, and Webb did just that.

Quick point guard, who after a slow first quarter was a handful getting downhill and hitting in the mid-range for Hartshorne. Like his pull up game, it's smooth, with little wasted motion. Scored a team high 14 points and handed out 3 assists.

The best quarter of basketball of the day was Hidalgo's first quarter. He was unstoppable, on his way to 16 points. Living at the rim, hitting in the mid-range and controlling the paint. Very impressive all around showing, which sat the tone for a blowout victory. Propelling the panhandle squad to another Class 2A semifinals appearance. Hidalgo and [player_tooltip player_id='2335349' first='Keilan' last='Robinson'] are one heck of an one two punch and have the Bulldoogs one step closer to Gold. Hildalgo finished with 21 points and 5 rebounds.

Tall and skilled guard, who also wasn't afraid to get his nose dirty. Finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Long stride allows him to easily eat up ground in transition and drives. Only hit one triple, but it was a big one to end the first half. Did most of his damage in the mid-range and battling at the rim. While Pocola has been a regular at the State Tournament, today was Stroops' first trip. He embraced the big lights and even hit clutch free throws in the overtime session.

Shifty lead guard who gave Pocola fits all game long. Had some very tough and acrobatic finishes among the trees. Finished with 17 points and impressively was a key part of the Braves gang rebounding against a bigger squad. He grabbed 10 boards. And even handed out four assists. It was a tough loss for Riverside, but, Bert left it all on the court with a full impact.

The athletic undersized forward is all heart and grit. Made some huge hustle plays that led to key second chance points in the fourth. While also battling all night long with the taller Pocola squad. Type of player who's impact goes beyond the box score.

The skilled sophomore brought it in the second half, with a tight handle. Has some wiggle to his game, scoring in a variety of ways. Got up to 17 points total, including good work in the mid-range. Creepingbear has always impressed with a good foundation for a youngster in viewings. And it was great to see him show off his skills on the biggest stage possible for small school ball in Oklahoma.
