The 2026 class has some good depth to it and is full of scholarship level prospects. With their last year of AAU on the horizon, these Juniors have a chance to get on the radar of teams this spring and summer. Here are some point guards who are a little overlooked right now.

One of the best players in western Kentucky that no one talks about, Woodfork is a talented guard who is quick and plays with an edge to his game. Miles can get downhill and finish or knock down threes from range. I'd like to see him facilitate more as I know he can create his own offense. Miles could be a steal for a school this summer.

Harrison is one of the best isolation scorers in the state, period. Day Day is quick with the ball and knows how to finish around the bucket with a great layup package. At the next level, Harrison needs to become more of a creator for his teammates. Similar to Woodfork above, Dayvone would be at his best as a facilitator who doesn't need to score as much.

Parsons has been a big name in the Mountains for a few seasons now and has earned his praise. Carter is a stronger guard who excels at finishing through contact. He's also become a really good shooter, knocking down 40% of his three point attempts in his Junior season. Moving forward, Carter could be a star at a place like Berea or Kentucky Christian but could also end up with higher offers than that.

Heath missed the season after an ankle injury at the preseason jamboree but I'm hopeful he is going to be back to 100% for the AAU season. Brandon was quick and effective at getting paint touches last season and hopefully will be back to that this summer.

Jakobi has become more well known on the football field of late but he did play in 10 games at Oldham County after transferring from North Oldham after the football season ended. McRoberts excels at getting into the paint and creating clean looks for teammates. It remains to be seen which sport Jakobi will play in college but don't be surprised if he ends up with offers in both football and basketball.
