As a junior, he averaged 18.4 points per game and proved to be a reliable outside shooter, hitting 95 three-pointers at a 39% clip. Parsons thrives under pressure, taking on a heavy offensive load and stepping up in clutch moments when his team needs him most. Now at Pikeville, the 1,000-point scorer holds offers from Fisher College, Alice Lloyd, Union, Brescia, and Kentucky Christian University. Parsons is another player that will be among the best in the 15th Region.

Parsons has been a big name in the Mountains for a few seasons now and has earned his praise. Carter is a stronger guard who excels at finishing through contact. He’s also become a really good shooter, knocking down 40% of his three point attempts in his Junior season. Moving forward, Carter could be a star at a place like Berea or Kentucky Christian but could also end up with higher offers than that.

The 6-0 guard has a dangerous asset to his game whether he is shooting from the perimeter or at the rim. He is a hard guard to matchup with because he can make you pay in a variety of ways. Parsons has elite scoring capabilities and a consistent floater in the mid-range game. He is also an elite on the ball defender and has great footwork to stay in front of the opposition.

Parsons looked like one of the more refined players at the event on Saturday. Meaning his game is pretty polished as you can tell with his skill level and ability to score the ball. Carter didn’t have a ton of chances to show his playmaking as his team was pretty guard heavy but he did prove he can get to the rim and score or knock down deep triples.
