After he drained 5 threes on his way to 17 points in the SOL Championship game, it should not be a surprise that Cybok had the hot had again last night during UM's District 1-5Aquarterfinal win over Marple Newtown. On Wednesday night, Cybok poured in 26 points on the strength of 6 made threes. Cybok once again displayed a quick release as well as the ability to hit from logo distance. He also did a fantastic job in transition of running to spots along the arc, getting his feet set and then draining the open shot. Additionally, Cybok proved he could score at the rim through contact.

This season Kennedy (Merrimack commit) has posted several double doubles. In fact, earlier this month he recorded 23 points and 12 assists during Father Judge's victory over St. Joe's Prep. But on Wednesday night, Kennedy took things to another level as Father Judge defeated St. Joe's in the PCL semifinals. Down at The Palestra, Kennedy stuffed the stat book with 17 points (1 three), 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Kennedy did a magnificent job of pushing the rock in the open court for scores and assists. He capped off several fast breaks with finishes through contact. Kennedy's drive and kick game was on point as well. His paint touches were frequently followed by well-timed dimes that led to open looks for Judge's shooters. This bouncy and instinctive guard proved to be an underrated rebounder too.

Last week in the Central League championship game, Mita (15 ppg.) notched a double double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. This high IQ stretch-4 prospect followed that performance with a 21 point and 11 boards effort in the District 1-5A quarterfinals. Sixteen of Mita's points came in the second half. Wednesday night Mita connected on face ups and flip hooks as well as mid-range jumpers. He also dialed up a couple of threes. Mita attacked the offensive glass for second chance points too. Defensively, Mita gobbled up rebounds and supplied rim protection.

This season Ogurcak was a sophomore starter who prior to Wednesday night was averaging 19 ppg. and had splashed 58 threes. Then last night during Round 1 of the District 3 playoffs, Ogurcak exploded for 34 points on the strength of 5 triples made triples. His NBA range and non-stop off-ball movement make Ogurcak impossible to defend. In addition to lacing treys, Ogurcak got to the rim off the bounce and converted on several tough finishes. When his rim attacks drew a whistle, Ogurcak went to the line and knocked down his freebies.
