<p>The Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) will advance to the SCISA Class 4A State Championship on Friday after defeating Pinewood Prep 82-71 in Overtime. The game was tied at 69-69 at the end of regulation. The Lions currently have a 24-game winning streak to date. </p>

<p>Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1300731' first='Bryce' last='Reynierson'] </strong>came up big for the Lions by scoring 37 points tonight. Bryce was scoring from all over the court. He scored with a short jump hook, put backs on the glass, jumpers on the floor and just all out HUSTLE. He was relentless on the glass and just outworking his opponent at times tonight. Bryce played with a very competitive edge and was determined to win this game. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2412819' first='Ty' last='Shine']</strong> has grown up a bit from last year with his frame. Shine just a sophomore plays very composed and really shows to have great body control to the cup. He can score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor when it comes to knocking down the 3-ball, hitting a mid-range jumper or simply finishing at the rack. Ty finished with 18 points tonight in the Lions win. </p>

He has slimmed down with his weight and was quite effective at times tonight. He finished with 10 points in the win. Morton has a soft set of hands and a soft touch from the foul line. </p>

Slawson scored several of his baskets in transition leaking out at times. The crafty Slawson really logged a lot of minutes and rarely went off the floor today. </p>

<p>The Porter Gaud Cyclones moved to (21-5) on the season under Head Coach John Pearson. The Cyclones defeated Hammond 49-45 to advance to the SCISA Class 4A State Championship on Friday to play Augusta Christian. </p>

Daylin really likes to get downhill and excelling in the transition game. He shows to have a very quick 1st step to the bucket. Daylin scored through contact on drives to the bucket and constantly plays around the ball at all times. He finished with 17 points. </p>
