begins the group of names to know from day one of the 2025 Heathwood Hall Winter Classic. Slawson had his fingerprints all over the Panthers’ win against Fort Walton Beach (FL), racking up 9 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Although he did a little bit of everything, it was Jonathan’s passing that caught my eye the most. He has good touch on his passes, which makes them easy for his teammates to catch and immediately go up with a shot. Slawson will also do some of the gritty work by getting on the floor for loose balls and being a vocal leader for his team.

Slawson runs the show from out top for the Panthers and longtime Head Coach Pat Eidson. Jonathan isn’t flashy at all with his play. He plays under control and makes good decisions all game long. Slawson can knockdown the open jumper when it comes his way.
Jonathan averaged 9.2 ppg and 4.4 assists a season ago for the Panthers (22-11).

headlines our list of standouts from Saturday’s action in the 16U Division of the Southeast Exposure Showdown. Slawson was great on the defensive end, racking up steals and deflections. And frequently, after he won possession back, he would throw a beautiful transition pass to get buckets on the other end. In the half-court, Slawson is also a capable ball handler and a catch-and-shoot threat. He put up 9 Points, 4 Assists, and 5 Steals in a win over Phenom ESA on Saturday Morning.

Slawson plays for the Panthers legendary Head Coach Pat Eidson who currently has 911 career wins. Jonathan is a tough-minded guard who has no problems sacrificing his body for a charge or jumping on the deck for a 50/50 ball.
Slawson is a bit of streaky shooter at times but is capable of running off a few from time to time. Look for Slawson to lead the way for the Panthers in the years to come in Summerville.
