Biggest Standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id='1624061' first='Caden' last='Coleman'] (Greenville HS) - Coleman starts off the Week 5 Standouts after a solid all-around performance against Mauldin, racking up 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in the win. Despite not having his usual efficiency in the mid-range, Caden did knock down two threes to help balance the shooting. Coleman made good reads throughout the game and displayed a tight handle when pressure down the stretch. He is a terrific athlete and showcased it through rebounding, shot-blocking, and finishing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1892485' first='Roman' last='Cooley'] (Greenville HS) - Roman is one of the most consistent players in the upstate. He stepped up in the second half when the Red Raider offense slowed down and helped them continue to find points. Cooley displayed his athleticism with an impressive block in the first quarter while also hauling in a few rebounds. Roman is both strong and patient in the offensive paint which helps him battle around big bodies. Cooley earned several trips to the free-throw line, then scored the first three Greenville fourth-quarter field goals, and finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259499' first='Nathan' last='Wilbourne'] (Mauldin HS) - Wilbourne stepped up for Mauldin in their second loss to Greenville. He connected on an early three from the corner and had a nice left-handed euro-step layup, but he didn't seem to play his normal first-half rotation. However, Nate stayed confident in the second half and hit several pull-up jumpers from three and mid-range. Wilbourne also balanced playmaking and forced turnovers, putting up 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2040358' first='Tyson' last='Ray'] (Chapin HS) - First up of the standouts from Chapin vs Lexington is [player_tooltip player_id='2040358' first='Tyson' last='Ray']. Tyson is one of the top unsigned seniors in the state and is a balanced playmaker on the offensive end. He had 5 points and 4 assists in the first quarter, which Chapin won 24-11, and finished with 13 points and 7 assists overall. Ray has good positional size and a tight handle but is comfortable playing on or off the ball. Tyson excels at attacking rotating defenses and closeouts with a good feel for getting downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393796' first='Carter' last='Ray Coggins'] (Chapin HS) - Coggins had a strong shooting showing on Tuesday. He knocked down threes on the first two Chapin possessions to help them get off to a quick start. Carter stayed shot-ready when off the ball, mostly operated on the wings or in the corners, and displayed a quick release. He is also a good defender and caused lots of trouble for opposing ball handlers by moving his feet or keeping his hands active while in full-court pressure. Coggins had 17 points on 5 3PM and 2 steals in the win.

Seth Adams (Lexington HS) - Adams was a bright spot for Lexington in the loss to Chapin. He has a good balance of size and mobility, using it to score from various spots on the floor. Adams started strong in the first half, scoring with a strong finish from the dunker spot and then stretching out to the perimeter with a spot-up three. When operating close to the rim, Seth can face up and see over defenses to find cutting teammates. Adams also works hard on both sides of the glass and put up 10 rebounds to go with his 17 points.
