Tyson was a bright spot for Chapin in their loss to Byrnes. He had a game-high 20 Points and was efficient from all three levels. Ray plays off the ball mostly but he does run the offense well when given the opportunity. Tyson has a good handle and can read the floor well when attacking the basket. He also has good length to shoot over contests and finish over bigger players at the basket.

Tyson had a very good summer for the Eagles on the hardwood. Ray really made good strides this Grassroots and High School season with his play. Tyson really showcased his skills from the lead spot out top. He really showed good explosion at times with the ball in his hands attacking the cup.
Tyson was able to touch he paint and drop the old school bounce pass along the way to teammates. He sees the floor well from out top and has good size to bring to the table from the point guard position. Tyson really likes to attack to the left side of the bucket despite being right-handed.

Ray is another Palmetto State Standout from Thursday at the Wofford Team Camp. Chapin had some trouble breaking down the 2-3 Zone of Highlands Tech, but balanced being aggressive in the middle of the zone and swinging passes to find an opening well. When he did get downhill, there was not a lot of space so Ray showed his handle in tight spaces and vision to find an open teammate. Tyson has two key moves that he can use to score over taller defenders: a floater and a pull-up jump shot. His ability to score and create for others allows him to be versatile in the backcourt and give opponents different looks. On the defensive end, Ray used his length to help force difficult shots and even tallied 3 blocks in the game.

Tyson is a smooth scorer from all three levels of the floor. He can play either position in the backcourt and can score off the catch or the dribble. In particular, Ray impressed with his ability to create opportunities for his teammates as well. He had a strong 10-point, 7-assist performance on Sunday Morning, using his size, speed, and length to cause lots of problems for the opposing defense.
