Each week during the high school season, Prep Hoops Wisconsin and Zaleski Sports will select boys' basketball teams of the week across the WIAA's five divisions. Here are this weeks honored squads:
DIVISION 1 … HOMESTEAD
Homestead pulled within two games of league-leading Slinger in the North Shore Conference and ended the Owls' 18-game winning streak last Friday by posting a 74-64 road victory. The impressive triumph avenged a 70-69 loss to Slinger in the Homestead gym in mid December. Northern Michigan recruit

(6-0) added 13 and 15 points, respectively. The Highlanders also registered a win over Hartford last week as Belot netted 22 and Rogers contributed 18. Homestead continues league play this week with games against Port Washington (Tuesday) and Whitefish Bay (Friday).
DIVISION 2 ... NEW BERLIN WEST
A victory over your cross-town rival followed by a win over one of the better teams in the state. It was indeed a week to feel good about for the New Berlin West Vikings as coach Scott Cook's squad posted a 67-50 triumph over New Berlin Eisenhower on Tuesday and then turned back West Allis Central 82-72 on Friday. The Vikings have won six games in a row and stand at 14-5 heading into games this week against Woodland West Conference heavyweights Pewaukee (Tuesday) and Wisconsin Lutheran (Friday). DIVISION 3 ... LAKE COUNTRY LUTHERAN
Once again, Lake Country Lutheran is king of the hill in the Midwest Classic Conference. The traditionally strong Lighting won a pair of league outings last week and stretched their winning streak to nine games by beating Living Word Lutheran 71-60 last Friday. Coach Mark Newman's club also beat league-newcomer Kingdom Prep Lutheran last week. Living Word Lutheran came into Lake Country Lutheran with an unbeaten conference record, but the Timberwolves headed home with a loss thanks to 48 percent shooting from the field. DIVISION 4 ... WESTFIELD
Everything came together in a big-time way for the Pioneers in their showdown with South Central Conference power Wisconsin Dells last week. Westfield notched a 69-55 triumph over the visiting Chiefs to create a deadlock at the top of the league standings with the Pioneers and Wisconsin Dells both sporting 6-1 conference marks. (6-9) was dominant in the 93-51 win over Bowler as he finished with 33 points and 12 rebounds. The big post player was equally impressive in the 84-35 triumph over Gresham, finishing with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Brady continues to show improvement in his game for the Tigers and leads the team in scoring (20.5 ppg) and rebounding (10.2 rpg). Tigerton is undefeated in the Central Wisconsin North Conference and has won 15 in a row since dropping a non-league game to Northeast Wisconsin Homeschool December 5. Senior guard
