After unveiling mid-season all-state teams for the six New England state associations, today we'll change course and provide our thoughts on a mid-season all-New England team for the NEPSAC.

This is an almost impossible task given the amount of teams that make up the NEPSAC, but still provides a chance to acknowledge a few individuals who have had terrific seasons to this point in time.

Our post-season teams will take a deeper look at each class of the NEPSAC, listing all-New England teams for each level.

For now, here are six prospects from across the region that have stood out at the half-way point.

Guard: [player_tooltip player_id='2325746' first='Amir' last='Jenkins']

The Worcester Academy guard has been a major stock riser in his first season of NEPSAC play. Jenkins is a terror in the open floor, where his combination of handle and quickness allows him to get anywhere he wants off the bounce. He makes good reads in the half-court, can knock down shots at all three levels, and continues to defend at a high level in space. While he's always been a true floor general, his ability to go off for 20+ on any given night has drastically elevated his game this winter.

Guard: [player_tooltip player_id='1239437' first='Ryder' last='Frost']

The Phillips Exeter guard has continued on his success from this summer, proving to be one of the region's best shot makers. A Notre Dame commit, Frost has helped Exeter to win after win after win this season, proving that his rise in the national rankings was justified. The high IQ guard is physically strong, showcases next level athleticism, and leverages his shooting to be a true three level scorer. His movement without the ball, ability to finish in traffic, and effort on the defensive glass shouldn't go unnoticed either.

Forward: [player_tooltip player_id='1529071' first='Jaylen' last='Harrell']

The CATS Academy wing has done a bit of everything this season, showing off an efficient, well-round offensive game. A Providence commit, Harrell has been the guy for one of the country's top prep teams, showing up night in and night out for his squad. Always a big time scorer, he's starting to impact the game in other ways as well, proving capable of grabbing 10+ rebounds a night or dishing out 5+ assists in any given game. His evolution from pure scorer to stat sheet stuffer has made him that much more difficult to guard this winter.

Forward: [player_tooltip player_id='2341363' first='Alex' last='Egbuonu']

The Lawrence Academy wing has produced big scoring game after big scoring game this winter while cementing himself as one of the nation's top wings. Egbuonu continues to be a breakout star nationally, recently scheduling a visit to Auburn while also securing offers from Stanford and Villanova. The power wing is built like a linebacker, has long arms, and packs a ton of athleticism into his frame, but what seperates him is his feel for the game and ability to score from all three levels. A grab and go rebounder that makes good decisions with the ball, he has multiple games of 30+ points already this season.

Forward: [player_tooltip player_id='2325734' first='Landon' last='Clark']

The St. Paul's forward has been a focal point offensively, showing the ability to impact a game in a variety of ways. A Princeton commit, Clark is a big lefty that can really shoot the ball from behind the arc and appears to have taken his game to another level this winter. He's been phenomenal lately at St. Paul's has rattled off 6 straight wins, showcasing a well-rounded offensive game and the ability to guard multiple positions defensively while controlling the glass. He's incredibly skilled and has only continued to get more comfortable with the speed and physicality of the prep game this winter.

Sixth Man: [player_tooltip player_id='1529125' first='Ryan' last='Altman'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1157225' first='Payton' last='Kamin']

Admittedly, I took the easy way out here and included both Altman and Kamin, I just couldn't find a way to leave either off this list given the seasons they are having. Altman, a guard at Rivers, has been on a scoring tear of late, proving to be one of the region's top shot making guards. The Penn commit just continues to string together 20+ point performances while also showing the ability to rebound at a high level. His combination of positional size, athleticism, and basketball IQ make him a tough cover for any opponent. Kamin, a wing at Worcester Academy, has had a breakout season, piling up the points in a variety of ways this winter. One of the top unsigned seniors in New England, he's a scorer through and through, with multiple 30+ point games already this season. With good size on the wing and an understanding of how to break a defender down in isolations situations, he's proven to be a capable three level scorer that is hard to stop once he see the ball go through the next a few times.
