This heavyweight battle between two of Baltimore's finest ended in a 55-50 Mount Carmel win. Carmel clinched their first ever MIAA A Championship after grabbing their first No. 1 seed beforehand. This was an intense game that saw a few lead changes and a tight finish.

Mt. Carmel saw great contributions from their frontcourt in this win. Ralph Rudasans led the way with 17 points off the bench. He hit baskets off his own shot creation and by running the lanes, making great cuts. [player_tooltip player_id='2454529' first='Junior' last='Mancho'] (11p/3r/2s) and [player_tooltip player_id='1782603' first='Gage' last='Howard'] (9p/5r/3a/2b) were instrumental with their production in the trenches. Both made big defensive plays to help push OLMC over the top. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1782668' first='Tristen' last='Wilson'] had a great all around game, assisting for 4 baskets and adding in 7 points.
St. Frances did not back down from the fight and came close to stealing the victory in the final minutes. SFA's star point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1782591' first='Jasiah' last='Cannady'] was up to his usual self with his high-level shot making ability.
MIAA Division C Championship: Key School vs Saints Peter & Paul

Key School fought until the end but fell short of the victory. Saints Peter & Paul were too much for Key, winning the game 60-50 and controlling from start to finish. The Sabres complete the back-to-back title run in the MIAA C in convincing fashion.

Garett Hemingway, who just recently clinched 2,000 career points, had an early 10 in the first half of the game. Scored in the lane and stepped out for 3 alike in this game, keeping the defense honest. SP&P had solid production from their starting unit, all finishing with 6+ points in the game. Made necessary stops and went on timely runs to expand on their lead and keep the comfortable distance for the majority of the game.

Key School came back fighting, inching back point by point until they trimmed the lead into dangerous territory late in the game. However, teamwork truly won the game in this battle, and the Sabres were connected through the whole game, leading to a comfortable MIAA Championship game W.
