<p>On Saturday, February 7th, the Metro Classic returned for a third day of action at Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ. On the last day of action, we saw matchups once again not only between some of the better public school programs in the state but also some of New Jersey's better programs compete against the likes of national programs. As part of the first part of this article, we'll dive into the guys that stood out over the course of the last day of competition at this year's Metro Classic.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Shouldering most of the offensive production for Rumson Fair Haven, [player_tooltip player_id='2205839' first='Luke' last='Cruz'] showcased his ability to be an inside and outside threat. Cruz got going offensively by being active on the offensive glass and getting putbacks, showing off his smooth release and knocking open catch and shoot threes from deep range, attacking closeouts and finishing at the rim, as well as finishing plays at the rim in transition. Cruz also showcased his ability to play in the pick and roll, excelling both as a roll threat and as a pop threat. Cruz finished the game with 33 points and 13 rebounds. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Knocking down a game high 6 threes from the perimeter, Andrew Cavise showcased his lethal shooting ability. In transition, Cavise did a good job of sprinting to the corners and being shot ready. In the halfcourt, Cavise was patient in waiting for the ball to reverse to him, to knock down open looks. Cavise finished the game against St. Joe's Metuchen with 18 points. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Against an athletic SoCal Academy team, Naas Hart displayed a little bit of his back to the basket game alongside his ability to be a pick and pop threat. Hart also used his athleticism and length to be a factor on the glass, grabbing offensive and defensive rebounds. Hart was also able to get out in the open floor and finish plays in transition.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1411663' first='Torrey' last='Brooks'] shined in his ability to consistently get in the paint and create good looks not only for himself but his teammates as well. In terms of creating for himself in the paint, Brooks did a solid job of finishing around the basket amongst traffic. In terms of creating for his teammates, Brooks did a good job of attracting help defense to either hit guys in the dunker spot or spray out to open shooters on the perimeter. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Manny Joe-Samuel shined in his ability as a shot maker, more particularly off the bounce. Whether it was from behind the three point line or getting to his in between game and hitting mid range pull ups, Joe-Samuel showed his knack for being able to hit shots off the dribble. Joe-Samuel was also able to get multiple trips to the free throw line, going from 5 for 6 from the charity stripe. Joe-Samuel finished the game against Colonia with 15 points. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Providing yet again another strong interior presence for Camden, [player_tooltip player_id='1411402' first='David' last='Munro'] did a good job of holding it down in the paint for the Panthers. Possessing a strong and physical frame, Munro showcased his ability to both absorb and play through contact around the rim, generating multiple trips to the free throw line. Munro made 7 of his 8 attempts from the free throw line. Munro even flashed a little bit of his ability to be an outside threat, knocking down an open shot from the perimeter. Munro finished the game with 14 points. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2407095' first='Zion' last='Green'] shined in the many ways he was able to provide offense for Camden. Not only was Green able to use his length to generate extra possessions on offense and be active on the offensive glass but he was also able to get to the rim whether it was creating for himself off the dribble, attacking closeouts or finishing plays in transition. Green finished the game with 13 points and 10 rebounds. </p>
