About Emmanuel
Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Samuel is a volume scorer who can find the bucket in an array of ways. He looks comfortable hitting tough shots in the sequence of the game. He is a bit of a tweener positionally but could be a viable plug and play guy. He can get to different spots in the mid-range.

Known first and foremost as a prolific marksman from the perimeter, Joe-Samuel didn’t have his jumper working tonight but showed nice diversity in his scoring arsenal. In what looks like the best shape of his life, he looks to have added some wiggle and quickness off the bounce. Multiple times he broke his man down 1-on-1 before knifing to the rim for a finish. He also showed nice energy and instincts to force turnovers defensively. Joe-Samuel’s game is a bit unorthodox, but his shot-making and developing floor impact have him firmly on scholarship radars down the stretch of his senior year.

is a combo guard with great positional size that can score in a multitude of ways. Good at using his size and strength to his advantage, Joe-Samuel loves to get to his mid range. Comfortable at knocking down shots from the three point range and getting to the basket also, Joe-Samuel can score from almost anywhere in the halfcourt.
A strong senior season that’ll more than likely see him continue to erupt for strong scoring performances will do nothing but help his stock rise throughout the course of his senior year as we see some more schools get involved in Joe-Samuel’s recruitment.

Joe-Samuel had 15 points in a tough loss to Ridge View. He hit three straight threes on back-to-back-to-back possessions late to turn a blowout into a close game. A 6-foot-3 wing with the ability to get hot in a hurry, he could pick up a number of offers this Spring.

Joe-Samuel is an excellent three-point shooter and likes to get his shots up in a hurry. He has a very quick release point while also being 6’4″ making it difficult for defenses to get a good contest. He is always moving without the basketball and likes to come off of off-ball screens to get his open shots. His midrange and finishing game is great as he has an effective eye fake move he will go to get defenders jumping in the air.

Joe-Samuel is a lethal shooter from downtown and can create nothing out of something on the offensive end. He gets a good lift on his jump shot while also having a high release point making it difficult to get a contest. He can get into his shooting motion no matter how awkward of a situation he is in. Joe-Samuel can hit tough fading-away shots from the wings and likes to shoot well past the three-point line.
