excelled at being extremely active around the rim. Possessing a quick second jump, Richmond was heavily active on the glass— generating second chance points on the offensive boards and crashing the glass and coming down with rebounds on the defensive end. Richmond also thrived as an above the rim finisher in transition, highlighting his glaring movement skills and athleticism. Richmond was also effective using his length on the defensive end of the floor to be an intimidating factor as a rim protector.

showed a handful of bright moments that make him an intriguing prospect at his size. Richmond showed flashes of his soft touch around the rim, fluidity and mobility at his size, and smooth shooting stroke. Richmond also displayed his ability to sprint the floor as well as be active on the offensive glass. Although raw and having both up and down moments throughout the weekend, Richmond is steadily improving and will definitely look to put together more brighter moments heading into session two next month.

After seeing his minutes increase over the course of his freshman year, Richmond has continued to blossom upon jumping into the starting lineup as a sophomore. He’s a consistent two-way factor around the rim, using his length, athleticism, and motor to make an impact contesting shots and finishing easy opportunities inside. What makes Richmond really enticing as a prospect are the flashes he shows out to the perimeter with his jump shot and ability to track smaller players defensively. He has to continue to finetune his skills and develop his feel for the game, but it looks like D1 coaches should come calling for Richmond in time.
