Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
While he doesn’t come in as the most acclaimed freshman in Camden’s backcourt, Chapman has earned a clear rotation spot himself and is competing for a starting job with his fiery two-way contributions. He stood out in a Sunday afternoon win with his tough-nosed approach and active instincts on the defensive end. Although he wasn’t called on as a primary scorer, Chapman also showed nice poise as a decisionmaker and secondary ballhandler both in the open floor and the halfcourt setting. We should have plenty more opportunity to get a feel for how high Chapman’s upside might be but he clearly looks like another nice building block for the Panthers to move forward with.
