Garner has had a strong summer and is looking to carry that over into the winter. The 6’4 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and has a nice touch around the rim. Garner can also put the ball on the floor and sets good screens in the half court. He is a force on the boards and can also pass out of the post. Garner is a skilled forward prospect who should put his game on display throughout the course of the season.

Garner’s broad and sturdy frame masked his well-rounded talent and game. With great timing and hand-eye coordination, he brought a physical presence to his team by blocking several shots and altering a dozen more. But he also displayed some finesse, spacing the floor and initiating transition offense with long outlet passes.

Garner has the ability to breakout this season as he should have more touches in the half court. The 6’4 forward knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Garner can also put the ball on the floor and has a high release on his free throws. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Garner is a physical forward prospect whose ability to control the paint is something that will help him throughout the 2026-27 season.

Garner only scored two points but nonetheless stood out with his play up front off the bench. A versatile forward with a sturdy frame, he’s impactful already at the varsity level as both a rebounder and rim protector. He showed promising flashes as a passer out of the post with strong hands and a nice foundation as a ballhandler. He’ll have to work to reapportion some weight but should be really strong as he matures over time. Garner tracks as one of the more intriguing frontcourt prospects in the state at this early stage.
