Playing behind college level size as an underclassman set the stage for Amous to step into a bigger role. And for the last two years, he's thrived as an engine for a Norman team that has won a lot of ball games. They reached State last year and won the gauntlet that was Class 6A District 2.

Quick and strong off the floor, he secures rebounds in crowds. Runs the floor hard for transition points. Fight for position down low, and then finishes strongly. Type of player who can be overlooked among flashier prospects, but the production and winning do not lie.

Crafty little guard, who has been producing since his freshman year. Hit a couple important milestones recently. He became the all time career points leader for Bethany. And he had a full statine; 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals performance in a WIN over conference rival and top ranked Weatherford. It's a huge momentum builder for a Bethany program with a strong senior class class, that is looking for their first State Tournament appearance since 2020. With the amount of games Todd has played over the year, the tough shots and heady defensive plays, he has either required to leave a lasting mark during these upcoming playoff weeks.

1,000 point scorer, who's strong senior season has the Bulldogs in position to make their first State Tournament since 2017. Plays with the strength of an upperclassman, along with good smoothness when attacking downhill. Unselfish guard, who will serve up good passes and flashy passes to teammates. Has produced this year against some of the tougher teams on their schedule, including 28 points with sharpshooting threes against top 3A squad Millwood. There's a fair amount of talent on Lincoln Christian, but the senior experience and urgency he'll bring to the court will be vital for their playoff run.

Emerged on the scene this past summer and has flourished as the lead dog for a scrappy Norman North team. His production fits into the mold of an old school point guard, who is also prideful on defense. Thomas sit and guards with the best of them in the class, at times basically making the opposition give him the ball. Plays fast but under control when attacking the rim. Has a variety of finishes and pull ups to score in the trees, or make the right read to open teammates. Plays like a winner, and has helped Norman North to their best season since 2022. And helped put them in a strong position to come out of a loaded 6A West as a State Tournament team.

With the move to districts in 6A, Northwest Classen has been giving a tall task the last two years competing against suburban programs. And the sparkplug point guard has never backed down from the fight. He's scoring over 20 a game, while also handing out more than his fair share of assists. Butler has deep range off the dribble, which is important for the gravity he creates. And opens up his ability to get downhill to score himself or create for others. Plays well out of ball screens as well, something college coaches should love. Has the look of a player who excels at a Region 2 JuCo before finding a home for the rest of his collegiate career.

Southern Oklahoma hidden gem. Good athlete with long arms, but also has a smooth scoring game. Can stop in the mid-range, or glide by defenders to the rim. Good footwork to either go by defenders or stop on two feet. Football playing background givens him toughness and physicality to go along with the finesse scoring. That and his long arms should help him out as a defender as the next level. Type of scorer who slips between the cracks, then starts lighting up the JuCo landscape.

Winning is the production that matters the most, right? And that's what Edmondson does, win. The heady guard has been a key part of the winning machine that has been Pirate basketball. And they're once again the favorite in Class 2A, in large part because Edmondson has stepped up as a senior. It started last year when he looked more confident and quicker on the ball, which complimented his great vision and reading of the game. He's a mid-range master now, while also still dropping dimes all over the place. The coach's son now has the opportunity to earn a rare accolade, four state titles. It's even more impressive, as he's been making plays for those title teams since he was a freshman.
