With the emergence of the Ohio Prep Conference, more talent in the state is being found at various prep programs across the state. Otite is one of the most athletic bigs in the state with his ability to finish at the rim and block shots. An explosive athlete, Otite makes some wow athletic flash plays that few players can match. Otite has another season to improve offensively and add weight to defend in the post. With physical tools you can't teach, this is a prospect we'll be keeping our eyes on.

An early commit to Liberty, Torr is following in the family footsteps after his father Erik Sorensen played for the Flames in the late 90's. A wing forward who can space the floor with a sweet lefty jumper, Sorensen was a reclass to the 2026 class as well to prepare his body for the college level. I think the biggest improvement he's made recently is getting a lot stronger and now being able to play through contact. When you combine his size, strength and perimeter shooting, Sorensen is a player who is trending upward.

Stirling impressed at our Prep Hoops Expo by showing off the ability to run the floor, finish at the rim and block shots. He's starting to flash those skills at the varsity level with averages of six points, almost nine rebounds and almost two blocks a night. If Stirling can continue to develop his body and add softer touch at the rim, he's a prospect who can start turning heads this summer for college programs.

A stretch forward, Goodnough gets limited minutes on Toledo St John's at the moment but looks like a prospect who could breakout as a senior. A player who made plays on the Prep Hoops Circuit in the fall and at the Toledo Top 64, we've gotten to see Goodnough play in a few different settings. It's hard to find guys who can shoot the ball like Goodnough can at his size and that will make him interesting to small college programs who are always looking for size.

A midwest fall league standout, Gill got on our radar due to his consistent production and high motor. A good rebounder for his size, Gill plays with a lot of energy and is effective at scoring on the interior. Gill had a big early season game against Westland and is looking to carry over some of that momentum as he continues his junior season. As a senior, I'd expect Gill to be the leader of a Thomas Worthington program that has developed some strong college prospects in the past few years.

The leading rebounder in the Dayton City League, Taylor is averaging a double-double this season. Shooting over 55% from the floor is another notable statistical achievement that Taylor is currently achieving as a Junior. I like the way Taylor scores in the post and puts himself in position for second chance opportunities. If Taylor can improve his defensive mobility and block more shots he could become one of the most dominant bigs in the Dayton area as a senior.
