The definition of heart over height, Harrison provided excellent energy for his team by hounding ball handlers the entire length of the floor, diving after loose balls and using active hands. His effort completely helped flip the game for his team. Late in the game, Harrison hit a big corner 3-pointer to put the game away.

An all around productive performance by Underwood as his physicality was a major difference maker in the morning contest as he defended players taller than him and rebounded the ball consistently. Underwood plays on balance, has strong legs and finishes through contact. Add in his soft touch on jumpers and layups and Underwood was an efficient scorer. Late in the game, Huntsman was looking to chew the clock out and Underwood made some sweet cross court passes vs trapping defenses. Impressive performance by an all-around athlete who will outwork you in any sport in any season.

A monster performance by Haley who dominated in the paint for his team. Starting the game off with an and-1 finish out of the post, Haley had a reverse layup and bank shot shortly after. Not afraid to be physical, Haley was fouled consistently and went to the foul line early and often due to his aggressiveness. Late in the game, Haley made some key defensive plays by taking a charge and blocking a shot from behind. Impressive all around performance in a tight victory.

One of the tallest players I saw today, Moultry feasted on second and third chance buckets in two thrilling contests for his Midwest Daniels group. Moultry does a nice job of rolling to the rim and being around the basket when shots go up to give him the best chance of getting an offensive rebound. Despite leaving some points at the rim, Moultry was still productive thanks to his motor and volume of opportunities in the paint. One of the most talented players in the Columbus City League, expect Moultry to put up monster numbers as a senior.

A strong day for Bishop Watterson prospects, Kidney started the game with a powerful dunk on the fast break, getting the action started strong. Kidney also made a couple nice kickout passes off a live dribble and drew fouls when he attacked the basket. Bishop Watterson always has strong and physical athletes at the wing and forward positions and Kidney fits in well with their playstyle.

Hayes was making a lot of plays in the first half for Hoop Smart 17 U as they played a fun up-tempo game Vs 937 Hoop Dreams. Hayes showed the ability to attack off the dribble as a secondary playmaker and provided good on-ball pressure defensively. When you can do both of those things as a guard you give yourself a chance to impact the game for your team. Hayes and [player_tooltip player_id='3552280' first='Owen' last='Kennedy'] form a nice backcourt duo for this Hoop Smart squad.

A new name as a standout, Sudimack impressed me with his cutting, consistent off ball movement and feel for the game. Not going to break you down off the dribble, Sudimack moved well to catch the ball already with an advantage against his defender. Finishing a handful of open layups, Sudimack worked well off the primary creators for his team and also got the ball to the scorers when his angle was cut off. If you can play off good players and also finish plays those players make, you can fit on a team and that's exactly what I liked about Sudimack's game on Saturday.
