Underwood was a problem to deal with on Saturday morning as the power wing guard was using his strong frame to get where he wanted off the dribble. Underwood is a flashy passer with the ball in his hands and had numerous no look passes that froze the defense. As a scorer, Underwood wants to get to the rim and use his body to shield off defenders when he attacks off the dribble. An impact varsity player for Urbana, Underwood is more polished and has a stronger frame than a lot of less experienced players in the league. Urbana should be very competitive once again this season as Underwood should help them push for conference and district titles this winter.

An all around productive performance by Underwood as his physicality was a major difference maker in the morning contest as he defended players taller than him and rebounded the ball consistently. Underwood plays on balance, has strong legs and finishes through contact. Add in his soft touch on jumpers and layups and Underwood was an efficient scorer. Late in the game, Huntsman was looking to chew the clock out and Underwood made some sweet cross court passes vs trapping defenses. Impressive performance by an all-around athlete who will outwork you in any sport in any season.
