Goodnough is the definition of a modern forward. Tall and long with a smooth game, he has one of the prettiest shots you’ll see — the ball comes off his hand with perfect rotation. He can stretch the floor by knocking down shots from anywhere, but he’s also big enough to be impactful in the paint as a rebounder. His ability to play inside and out makes him a versatile threat, and I think he’s a player who will open a lot of eyes at the Top 64.

A stretch forward, Goodnough gets limited minutes on Toledo St John’s at the moment but looks like a prospect who could breakout as a senior. A player who made plays on the Prep Hoops Circuit in the fall and at the Toledo Top 64, we’ve gotten to see Goodnough play in a few different settings. It’s hard to find guys who can shoot the ball like Goodnough can at his size and that will make him interesting to small college programs who are always looking for size.

Goodnough came off the bench in limited minutes for the Titans and had a huge winning impact. His size and length were something that shined on the defensive end. He tallied up a good bulk of blocks instantly. He was altering shots when the guards for St. Francis drove to the rim. He came off the bench with a ton of energy and toughness. He was someone who came on the court and made his impact felt.

An intriguing big, Goodnough has excellent size and is starting to move a little better than he did in the spring. His body is starting to fill out and the biggest appeal of his game is his ability to stretch the floor. Curious to see how he develops over the next two years, he will certainly grab eyeballs with his height.

Goodnough is someone who catches your eye because he is a nice tall kid who moves well. Then you see him shoot the ball and get really excited. He can hit shots in the midrange well and step out and hit the three-ball. He is a nice pick-and-pop player. He needs to get a little more physical but the skillset is there. Expect him to be a true player this year for St. John’s as well.
