Toledo St John’s has been one of the top programs in northwest Ohio as they develop talent and they become major contributors as upperclassmen. Lindsay seems next in line to step into a major role as an upperclassman this winter after getting some quality action last season. Lindsay plays hard, has a quick first step and is able to attack closeouts thanks to his ability to make shots on the perimeter. The Titans offense relies on unselfish play from their guards to operate at the highest level and Lindsay has shown the ability to fit in with that system. Expect to hear a lot about Lindsay in the Detroit Catholic League this winter.

I was a fan of watching Toledo St John’s on Saturday and despite still missing a few pieces that will be with them this winter, they competed against some top talent in the area. Lindsay is a tough young guard who really competes on both ends of the court for a player his size. Running him off floppy actions and pin down screens, Lindsay can make shots or curl a screen and attack the rim. You need players like Lindsay to win high school basketball games and by the time he is a senior he could have a chance at being an all conference performer if he continues to put in the work.

Lindsay has generated a lot of buzz at St. John’s, and it’s easy to see why. He’s a skilled point guard with good shiftiness and a smooth off-the-dribble scoring game. He can create shots for himself, score from multiple levels, and keep defenders on their heels. Lindsay is a confident guard, and I’m excited to see more of his full offensive bag on display this weekend.
