Boulder starts their league play 4-0 within the Rocky Mountain league, featuring a collection of skilled backcourt shotmakers and playmakers who share the ball particularly well.

Starting off with 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2395318' first='Cole' last='Morrow'], their high usage rate has been essential towards maintaining a steady offense at Boulder, as the only name on this roster with over 200 points on the season. Leading this group in every made shot category ranging from twos, threes, and free throws, this group goes about as far as Morrow is able to take them.

As this group's most efficient volume shotmaker from distance, [player_tooltip player_id='2746648' first='Lewis' last='Racine'] keeps opposing defenses on their toes at all times. Excellent in the face of incoming contests, the 6'5 wing brings immense confidence to round out their floor spacing. Bringing a high release to score above the incoming contest, Racine has been a pleasant surprise, catapulted onto the roster this season.

A well rounded playmaker for this group, [player_tooltip player_id='1622330' first='Lake' last='Smith'] is a pest getting downhill either off the rip or out of ball screens. Comfortable scoring in the paint off the hop step or turnaround finishes, he brings a diverse scoring package once around the paint. Still a bold passer within the halfcourt, he is comfortable creating skip passes as needed.

Although undersized within his role as a high motor rebounder, [player_tooltip player_id='1369831' first='Dominic' last='Trudgeon'] has been imperative towards creating second chance opportunities for Boulder. Leading this group in rebounds per game by a significant margin, he leverages his low center of gravity better than most 6'1 athletes. As well as being comfortable converting kickouts to teammates, he is essential towards rounding out this group.

Horizon has been off to a great start in the Granite Peaks league, going 5-0 so far thanks to their defensive size and ability to be quite malleable on the offensive side. Transfer forward [player_tooltip player_id='2138442' first='Noah' last='Sokolowski'] continues to bring efficient shotmaking inside the arc, alongside production as one of the best shot blockers in the state at 3 per game. While providing notorious shot blocking abilities, he has rebounded especially well as a sophomore, putting up a double double through seven games. Wings [player_tooltip player_id='1577241' first='Aiden' last='Greene'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2048130' first='Boaz' last='Wisne'] have been efficient contributors from both distance and inside the arc, adding a unique skill set at their size. Greene in particular remains one of the more intriguing wings at this stage, at 6'6, particularly thanks to his constant activity on the defensive end.

Complementary underclassmen guards such as [player_tooltip player_id='2120949' first='Nate' last='Susi'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2120960' first='Noah' last='Fields'] have given this group a burst of energy as needed. Susi's high motor and especially strong frame at this stage of his career make him a pest on the glass and efficient finisher in the paint. That strength has aided him if needed to switch, comfortable holding his ground against some bigger guards. Fields has found success as a slasher and secondary playmaker, bringing a quick first step to attack closeouts with ease. We have to give [player_tooltip player_id='2175387' first='Kaden' last='Northrup'] his flowers too, putting up 6.3 assists per game as providing a legitimate steadying presence in the halfcourt, setting up this group with the best possible attempts.
