Prep Hoops Indiana headed down to southern Indiana on Friday evening for one of the best matchups of the weekend state. Defending Class 2A state champions Brownstown Central have made a seamless transition to Class 3A so far this season. Let's dive right in and evaluate six of the standouts from Friday night's contest.

It was apparent from the opening tip that Coomer was fighting through some sort of a lower leg issue and it appeared to flare up early in the fourth quarter as he hobbled out of the game. It wasn't a typical game for the highly sought after unsigned senior guard, but we know that Coomer's positional size, fluid athleticism, and shot-making ability make him a valuable prospect at the next level.

It was a tale of two halves for this Top 50 Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 prospect. Fresh struggled through most of the first half as Charlestown fell behind 43-28. However, he quickly took over coming out of the halftime locker room scoring 14 points in the third period and finishing with a game-high 28 points, 22 of which came in the second half. Fresh's athleticism and length really stood out.

It would be hard to turn in a more impressive half of basketball than what Hall put together through the first 16 minutes of Friday night's game against Charlestown. The 6'6" unsigned senior accounted for just about all of the Braves' 23 first quarter points and went on to finish with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. His passing ability really stood out throughout the game.

This sharp-shooting left-handed guard was on fire for the Pirates on Friday night. Odle finished with four three-point shots, and knocked in three free throws after being fouled on an attempt, to score 15 points. His floor spacing pairs very well in the backcourt next to Todd and Fresh who we will also evaluate.

In the first half Brownstown Central was able to build a sizable lead by simply picking apart Charlestown's 2-3 Zone defense. Pendleton was a big part of that early success three three-point shots in the first quarter. He went on to finish with five 3's and led the Braves with 21 points. The 6'5" wing/forward also finished a nice right hand, left shoulder hook shot inside.

Todd is a physical lead guard for the Pirates that contributed some big plays during their second half comeback. His three-point attempt in the final seconds to put Charlestown on top missed, but his overall playmaking and strength off of the dribble was impressive on Friday night. Fresh and Odle led the way in the scoring column, but Todd added 8 points and was a big part of setting those two up all night long.
