Electric scoring output from one of the top PG's in DC. Brown used his quick trigger and unpredictable hesi to sink triples all over the perimeter. The closeouts on the jumper didn't bother him much, as he used his handle to create just enough distance and time to pull the trigger. He could slice his way inside and draw fouls at a high rate. Demonstrated an ultra-aggressive scoring mentality, tried to will his team back in a tough game vs Severn. Ant always impresses me defensively when he decides to really lock in and shut down his matchup. He moves his feet well and does well at beating his matchup to the spot and causing them to get flustered on the ball. Big time performance from a big time PG.

Diego played especially well in the team's first matchup with Neumann Gorretti. Made a lot of shots on the perimeter and stayed ready to shoot at all times. He distributed the ball well, never really forces his shot. Got to the basket when he needed but made the right kickouts. Always a plus to have a guy like Diego on the floor, knows how to play the game.

Akim was very solid for Potomac School. His ability to get to the basket is extremely entertaining to watch. He gets to the cup in just a flash and is up finishing an uncontested layup before the defense can react. Akim is super quick with an elusive unpredictable handle that's used to shake his defender right out of his way on driving the lane. He keeps his head up in the second level and finds his teammates when they are open right in the chest. Had a gutsy showing on the defensive side as well, moving his feet well and staying disciplined to create his opportunity for the steal.

Another high-level shooting performance from Marshburn. In the absence of team's leading scorer, it was interesting to see the response from Donavan. He took on the task of becoming the go-to guy for Glenelg. He looked comfortable taking more shots, creating more off the dribble. You could see he was very capable of choosing where he wanted to get on the floor and making his way there with the dribble. He was effective in scoring when he made a quick move or two, and gathered for his pull-up jumpshot. Would have liked to see him be even more aggressive in hunting his shot because he made them team better when the defense had to worry about him. Had a solid couple of games for Glenelg as they fought hard down a major player.

I liked how steady TJ played at the guard spot next to Averi. He was more of a facilitator in his two bracket games, setting up shooters and penetrating the lane to shift the defense. Found himself open a lot behind the arc, knocked a few down but hoped for a bit more consistency with the open makes. However, TJ was all-effort on the defensive side. Tracked down a lot of rebounds, picked up a lot of steals with his pressure defense and quick zone rotation. He got out on the break and kept his head up, always advancing the ball and scoping out trailers for the transition 3-ball.TJ put his head down a few times and took it strong to the rim, but was more impressive to me just holding things down at guard and defending hard.
