The freshman is currently averaging 21.7 PPG which puts him at 7th in state. On Saturday against Foothill he was draining shot after shot from downtown and ended up with 5 3PM on the day. In addition to his sharp shooting, he played some great defense. Eventually he and the Rattlers pulled away in the 4th quarter. Shaw was getting by defenders and scored quite a few layups, as well as a dunk. I was impressed with how he attacked some very athletic guards, and he had a decent amount of success.
