There's a shift in the latest rankings update as the 6-foot-6 swingman [player_tooltip player_id='2023905' first='Tarris' last='Bouie III'] takes over the top spot as he's part of a dynamic backcourt at JL Chambers High with a bright future. He's stepped up his game since the Cougars dropped a close conference game to North Mecklenburg back on Jan. 9, pouring in 77 points in their last three victories. He dropped 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor against West Charlotte back on Jan. 14 then followed that up with 37 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the floor in a victory over Mallard Creek on Jan. 17. He's a prospect to continue to keep eyes on in the class as a national prospect.

Harrison is back on top in the frontcourt at Reidsville High as he moves into the No. 2 spot in the overall rankings for the 2026 class. He recently committed to the Oregon Ducks with plans to suit up on both the football field and hardwood for the Big Ten program. He's on another quest for a state championship with the Rams as he leads the way for them with 14.4 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game as they're 14-0 currently.

Edwards moves into the No. 3 spot up from 5th as he continues to show his consistency in the Greenfield School rotation at the point guard spot. His ability to control the pace and get his teammates in position to be successful continue to show. He's nearly averaging a triple-double on the scoring, rebounding and distribution front and fresh off a 27-point, 8-assist, 8-rebound performance over First Flight in the Farmville MLK Invitational.

Rosario is the newest face in the Top 10 2026 rankings as he makes his debut at No. 4. He's a bouncy wing prospect at 6-foot-5 who's shown he can finish in a variety of ways around the rim and knock down shots from deep. He's putting up 17.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks per game for the YNG Dreamerz, who are 12-1 on the OTE season. Villanova, South Carolina and Florida State are the most recent schools to offer the OTE standout as his ascent up the national rankings continue.

James is another new face making his debut at No. 5 in the latest rankings update for the 2026 class. He's a big man prospect who's shown he can make things happen with his back to the basket and be a threat around the rim with his length. His ability to create off the bounce on the perimeter should intrigue college programs at the next level. Charleston and California are two of his most recent offers as he remains a top unsigned prospect in the class heading into a pivotal summer.

Neal moves back into the Top 10 at 7th in the latest rankings update as he continues to showcase his abilities at the point guard spot. He's another prospect in the Reidsville rotation with a lot of promise given his production on the hardwood. He's averaging 23.6 points, 9.2 assists, 7.2 steals and 5.1 rebounds per game as one of the best two-way point guards in the class. It's only a matter of time before DI programs in the area start pulling the trigger on him. He's a winning player with a ton of competitiveness in his spirit.

Kerr moves into the Top 10 at No. 9 in the latest 2026 rankings update as he powers the JL Chambers High backcourt along [player_tooltip player_id='2023905' first='Tarris' last='Bouie III']. He's shown his consistency on the hardwood with 21.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game as another high-major target in their rotation. He's another wiry prospect who's shown he's capable of scoring with efficiency as he's shooting 52 percent from the floor and 36 percent from the field. He'll be another one to watch in the Top 10 as Queen City Conference action rolls on and they're 6-1.

Knight remains steady at No. 9 in the latest rankings update as he's back at Jordan High. He leads the way averaging a double-double with 16.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 2.3 assists per game. He's an inside-out presence who's starting to find his rhythm for the Falcons as they're peaking at the right time at 13-2. As more college programs get eyes on him, look for him to grow as a national name in the 2026 rankings.

McKoy remains steady at the 10th spot in the 2026 rankings as he continues to lead Harrells Christian Academy to victory. They're 22-2 and have won nine in a row as he continues to lead the way with 26.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks per game at the wing/forward position. He put up 38 points on 16-of-19 shooting against Greene Central in a 73-58 victory. His ability to play a number of roles on the floor is what makes his skill set easy to see as a high-major prospect simply waiting in the wings for an opportunity to prove themselves.
