One thing that was painfully apparent when we did the rankings update was Sheley was ranked way too low to begin with - and it wouldn't be surprising to see his ranking increase even more with the next update. The lanky lefty is a pure shooter and scorer who has progressively been putting up bigger scoring games as his senior season has gone along. He's got good size at 6-foot-4, has the knowledge as the son of a college coach and with added strength, the sky's the limit.

It's been a rebuilding year for Liberty after their Pacific Conference title run last season, but one of the key returnees was Womack and he's not only taken on the load but has been succeeding. Undersized, he's used his athleticism and motor to get things done down low to play bigger than his listed height and has consistently led the Falcons in scoring and rebounding all season long. While he's most comfortable attacking the basket and finishing around the hoop, the senior has a pretty nice touch on his shot from the mid-range out past the three-point line.

With the graduation of some high-scoring seniors, Bentea was unquestionably going to get more shots this year - and he's delivered. The guard has been firing away from three - he's one of the best in the state knocking down contested shots - but has also been creating off the dribble and finishing inside for his generally undersized team. Far from a selfish player, the senior is also kicking it out to open teammates for threes and as always, puts out maximum effort on the defensive end.

Devin made the move over to the Portland Metro area from Hermiston and we freely admit the increased visibility has helped us to evaluate him more. That's led to a rise in his ranking, which should increase even more before the next update as the 6-foot-3 do-it-all guard has settled in nicely with his new teammates, having only joined the squad right at the season's start. His playing time and production has increased as the season has gone along as he's gotten accustomed to the Wilsonville offense and system.

Making moves in the rankings outside the top 100 is Hartenstein, who has moved into a main role with the Huskies thanks not only to roster moves but also a brand new coaching staff. He's knocking down open shots and facilitating for teammates on a night to night basis and in particular, has formed a nice combo with his younger brother [player_tooltip player_id='2053402' first='Cade' last='Hartenstein'] on both ends of the floor. As a result, North Marion has remained a 4A contender despite all the pre-season changes.

When we think of "straight-up ballers" there's no question Hall comes to mind. The senior guard listed at 5-foot-10 simply gets buckets every time we watch him play and based on what he's done so far this year, the returning 2A Player of the Year seems to be the favorite to not only capture that title again but lead Western Christian to another state title. He proved himself against big-time competition as this year's Capitol City Classic and is a legitimate small college prospect that has the majority of the D-III and NAIA programs in-state evaluating him closely.

There's been absolutely no question Blair's performance this season has helped him move up in the rankings. The senior guard has always been a long range shooting threat his entire high school career, but this year he's taken things up a notch to the tune of over 20 points per game as the Broncos main man. You simply cannot leave the lefty open from the perimeter but he's also crafty enough to create a bit off the dribble for himself and others. Parkrose is trying hard to make a playoff push in head coach Donell Morgan's final season at the helm and Blair is putting them on his back the best he can.

The one player whose stock rise impacts the Top Ten is Payne, and it's well-deserved. The 6-foot-5 do-it-all senior used a big summer to increase his strength and athleticism and it's paid off as his all-around play has rocketed the Pioneers into a true Three Rivers League title and state tournament contender this season. He played big at the Capitol City Classic and it's resulted in multiple scholarship offers at the D-II/NAIA levels with D-Is starting to take a look at one of the most underrated players in the entire state.
