<p>Hosted by the Newark Board of Education, the Brick City Showdown Classic returned this year to Weequahic High School for a fourth day of competitive matchups featuring some of North Jersey's best programs and individual players. With a little bit of a deeper slate of matchups on day four, let's take a deeper dive some of the standouts from Sunday's action at the guard position. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2763494' first='Jayden' last='Solomon'] shined in not only the ways he was able to create offense for himself but also showing an ability to get his teammates involved. In downhill attacking fashion, Solomon was able to get to the basket and finish at the rim as well as find his mid range game. In terms of getting others involved, Solomon did a good job of pushing the break and finding the open man in transition. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1786395' first='Luke' last='Schorr'] got it going from three, showcasing how much of a threat he is from behind the three point line. Finishing 6/7 from three, Schorr did a good job of being patient in the half court, waiting for the ball to find him, and knocking down numerous catch and shoot threes.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1595682' first='Jayden' last='Holman']'s fingerprints were all over this game in the different ways he was able to impact the game. Holman showcased his ability to push the ball in transition, knock down open shots from three point range both off the catch and off the bounce, and be a playmaker. As Linden's floor general, Holman showcased what he's capable of doing in terms of leading an offense.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1557545' first='Cameron' last='McRae'] showed a lot of what he can do in not only the ways he can shoot the ball but also in the ways he got others involved. McRae was able to knock down 4 threes from downtown, showcasing his catch and shoot ability. McRae also did a good job of keeping the ball moving; making the extra pass as well as kicking out to his teammates when attacking on drives and attracting help defenders.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1578536' first='Jaysean' last='Williams'] showcased a lot of his perimeter ability in the ways in which he was able to shoot the ball from three. Primarily hitting shots off the catch, Williams knocked down a lot of open looks for the Celtics offense. Williams was also able to get in the paint off drives to not only finish at the basket but kick out to open teammates. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2504886' first='Malik' last='Moore'] showed a lot of upside for Union Catholic Sunday. Moore was able to knock down a couple catch and shoot threes as well as run the floor in transition and finish at the rim. Moore also did a good job of keeping the ball moving in the half court and finding his open teammates. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1958321' first='Brandon' last='Lee'] showcased the multitude of ways in which he was able to score the basketball. Displaying a lot of his perimeter skillset, Lee had it going from three point range as he was able to knock down shots both off the catch and off the dribble. Lee was also able to get going in attacking the basket. Lee finished the game with 17 points. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Finishing the game with 17 points, [player_tooltip player_id='2201953' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] scored the ball in different ways for Elizabeth's offense. Johnson was able to get going on dribble drives and finish at the basket, shoot it off the catch from three point range, and even find his in between game in his mid range. </p>
