County tournament play is about to tip off as the final week of January is here. The Bergen County Jamboree tips off on Thursday and will be an intriguing tournament to track. The 2026 class is set to put up big numbers as they look to take home the county title. Here are the 2026 prospects to track during the Bergen County Jamboree.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595675' first='Julius' last='Avent'], 6'6 SF Bergen Catholic

Classmate [player_tooltip player_id='2342638' first='Jaden' last='Brown'] is having a fine senior season as well, but Avent is the one who leads the Crusaders' attack. The Michigan State commit attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong above the rim and can draw contact in the paint. Avent uses his size to see over his defender and has a nice release on his jumper. He uses his athleticism to make an impact on the defensive end and rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Avent has been playing at a high level all season long and should end up on an All-State team if he continues his high level play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763500' first='Nick' last='Baldini'], SF Tenafly

Adin Goldschneider powers Tenafly's offense, but Baldini is quietly having a strong season as well. He has a good first step, which he uses to get into the paint off the bounce and has a nice touch around the basket. Baldini is more than just a slasher as he has a nice shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Baldini has four double-doubles so far this season and is looking to have more games like that during the Bergen County Jamboree.

[player_tooltip player_id='2621316' first='Matthew' last='Kennedy'], 6'3 SG/SF St. Mary's

Kennedy has been on a tear all season long, averaging over 21 points per game this season. The 6'3 wing has a clean release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Kennedy can also get to the rim off the bounce and knows how to finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Kennedy is capable of putting up points in bunches, which he should continue to do for the Gaels over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1788774' first='Mickell' last='Taylor Jr'], 6'0 PG Teaneck

Taylor has been one of the top scorers in the Garden State this season, averaging a little over 27 points per game. The 6'0 guard can shoot either off the catch or bounce and can knock down triples in bunches. Taylor has a good touch in the mid-range and is able to play off the ball as well. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and pushes the pace well in transition. Taylor is capable of lighting up the scoreboard, which he should do during the Bergen County Jamboree.

[player_tooltip player_id='3143809' first='Andrew' last='Barry'], 6'7 PF Ridgewood

Barry has been a steady presence for Ridgewood on the interior and should continue to do so in February. The Stevens commit has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and his range extends out to the three-point line. Barry can also get position in the paint and is capable of passing out of the post. He uses his length to influence shots around the rim and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Barry's ability to stretch the floor and rip down rebounds will help Ridgewood make noise during the Bergen County Jamboree.

Other Prospects to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id='2107957' first='Marcos' last='Estrada'], 6'4 SF Hackensack

[player_tooltip player_id='2107943' first='JP' last='Skoric'], 6'8 SF/PF Don Bosco Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2883913' first='Pharoahe' last='Dixon'], 6'3 SG/PG Northern Highlands

Joel Mathew, G Demarest

[player_tooltip player_id='3243517' first='Michael' last='Moody'], 6'1 SG Ramapo
