Pete was close to unstoppable in his first game vs Glenelg. He started off strong, hitting two 3-pointers and two shots in the midrange. He continued into the second quarter by hitting timely threes both off the dribble and catching the ball in stride for an open look. Although he was shooting the lights out this game, his looks came off of efficient point guard play. He didn't have to work hard for many of his points because he allowed the game to come to him, and took advantage of his mismatches and momentary opportunities to attack. Made passes on time and did not allow the defense to speed up his decisions-making at the 1.

Baker hit on a variety of shots in his first game of bracket play. He caught a rhythm that increased his already-high shot confidence. He began hitting pullup jumpshots right over the top of the smothering defense. Baker was athletic enough to rise over the defense and get his shot off, so him catching his rhythm was only a matter of time with his shot output. He put it on the ground and attacked the basket more than he has in the past, but the jumper is what kept his flame lit this game. big scoring finish from the stock-rising senior.

Berg-McLean had a great game for Georgetown in a hard-fought win against Archbishop Wood out of PA. He showcased his big guard ability by finishing at the rim with contact after scanning the floor for openings. Attacked the basket at a high level without making shifty moves to freeze defenders. He was able to drive to the basket well, but he always had his head up to find his shooters. Another highly efficient outing from the Loyola commit.

Mansaray really got after it on the defensive end against Iona. Picked up a lot of steals that were generated into fast break layups. His aggressive defense was a true testament to his team's results on the floor. Good Counsel went on a few runs while he was in the game which was a result of his impact. He started to mix in some threes as the offense got flowing and moved the ball around. He made a few good baskets for a team lacking some playmaking outside of ‘27 G Dixon. Jamaal showed very nice in his combo guard role.

Makiah left an impact on the game although it came in an eventual loss to Severn School. He made some timely three pointers from the perimeter that keep Coolidge hopes of taking the lead alive. He played solid defense and came up with some steals and layups on the other end. Gray showed some nice handle on the ball as he made his way past some disciplined Severn defenders. Was impressed with Gray's ability to keep performing although his team fell short.

Bruiser was all over the floor in his team's performance against Archbishop Wood. He made some very nice passes to line up his shooters on the perimeter after breaking down his defender in the backcourt. He played the role of point guard to a T. Advanced the ball up the floor when necessary, read the play correctly to make the open pass, and started to knock down shots of his own once he helped establish his teammates rhythm.
