<p>Thanksgiving week I attended five tournaments and one stand alone game for exactly 24 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central HS, <strong>Beyond Basketball Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament</strong> at Moon Valley, <strong>Millennium at Sandra Day O'Connor, Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Sentinel Holiday Classic</strong> at Seton Catholic and Horizon Honors and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A fast southpaw can thread the needle with up the court ropes. He is unique as he is ambidextrous as a lefty ball handler and with his layups but shoots his mid to the three jumpers with his right hand. He also has a floater game and scores with fall aways plus he can handle contact inside. He scored 17 points. </p>

<p>A scoring point guard can fill it up with transition layups high off the glass, burst to the basket, jumpers and he is very shifty as he puts pressure on the defense to get to his spots. His court vision in every game he plays always stands out. He scored 13 points with around five assists. </p>

<p>A bigger defensive lead guard will drive and kick it to his teammates. He had a couple steals which led to layups and his passing and defense stood out. He can euro step to score and will make some acrobatic layups on the break plus hit the corner three in rhythm. He scored 13 points. </p>

<p>A scoring lead guard had a good showing. He can hit the catch three, take the ball to the basket with his left hand, use the floater game and will hesitate and get to the basket. He has a nice spin move to utilize and he is tough on the ball defensively. He scored 16 points. </p>

<p>A pure point guard who handles the lead guard role and will set the table for his teammates. He will consistently drive and kick it to a shooter and will dribble drive to score or euro step. </p>

<p>A sharp shooing lefty lead guard. He has a very quick shooting release from the three point line and gets set plays run for him off of many elevator action and most of his shots are off the catch. He can also score with running and blow by layups after he hesitates and has a nice looking floater. He scored a team high 20 points. </p>

<p>A scoring lead guard had his three ball clicking from beyond the arc. He still was making his big time pull-up from mid-range and made some nice up the court passes with his advanced court vision. He is mentally tough, strong, skilled and a natural leader. </p>

<p>A pure point guard for the Jackrabbits has great speed with the ball on a string. He is stretching out a little and is getting more athletic. He is very good on the ball defensively with his quick hands and feet. He will collect steals and race down the court and lay it in. </p>

<p>A scoring lead guard is a bucket. He will rattle in threes off the catch, he is deceptively quick to get to the basket to score or get to the free throw line. He has a nice floater game and plays with huge confidence. He scored 15 points. </p>

<p>A quick two-way point guard who is improving his skill. His pet move is quickly becoming his sharp pull-up from mid-range. He gets high elevation off the ground and it is very sudden. He has a good bag of layups and will score in transition. He scored 10 points. </p>

<p>A quick and tough scoring point guard. He can blow past his opponents and then find a teammate perfectly or score. He has the floater game in traffic and takes contact well. He can hit the catch three and plays off of the pick and roll game smartly. He scored 14 points. </p>

<p>A scoring point guard gets good minutes for the 5A varsity team. He can drive by his defenders with a very fast burst and uses either hand. He has a confident handle and knows how to change speeds to create separation. He scored 10 points.</p>
