Lubash is a player who runs the show for UH Elite Gold, and he got out in transition and made the right plays. He’s scrappy, a creative scorer, and against D1 New Mexico, he got it going with some tough finishes around the basket. What I liked about Lubash’s game is his decision-making. He had a few passes in the pick-and-roll that got the offense going and made the defense collapse when he attacked. That seems to be where he’s at his best, when he gets to attack and read the court, and they should set up more scoring opportunities for him in those sets.

Peyton is a natural shooter with extreme range from beyond the arch. His ability to hit the three from deep is unmatched and opens up the rest of his game. He has a quick release and is constantly running off ball looking to get open for spot up threes. Peyton has a quick and shifty handle that allows him to blow by defenders and finish high off the glass in the paint. He is a high IQ passer and will often thread the needle.

He elevated everyone around him by making the game easier for his teammates, locking in on getting others involved and showcasing his strong court vision. His passing was precise, consistently putting the ball in the right spots. With a tight handle, he can create separation and knock down 3’s with confidence.
