On Saturday March 28th I attended two club tournaments around the city with the Phenom Hoops West Mania at the Pyramid in Phx and the annual King of the City at the Phhacility in Phx.

I watched 11 games with 20 different teams on the long day and here were my Top-70 performers I viewed. These are not prospect rankings, but how did they do in the 1 or 2 games I viewed of them.

6th Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3067192' first='Trey' last='Cicerelli'] Gilbert Christian ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 15 UAA)

A scoring combo guard can play on or off the ball. He has a big IQ for the game and thinks like a son of coach would. He will score with tear drops after he bursts into the lane and he has one of those shooting strokes from the three point line that looks good every attempt.

[player_tooltip player_id='2816634' first='Kessington' last='Cole'] Goodyear (THK Elite 15)

A real point guard may be undersized but he has the speed, the tight handle and court vision to play the position. He is quick on the ball defensively and he will set the pace for his team. He will burst into the lane to score plus shoot it from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='3354660' first='Tyson' last='Delano'] Arcadia ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 15 EYCL)

A highly skilled combo guard plays on or off the ball easily. He will throw passes up the court for assists and score. He has a nice looking three point shooting stroke off the catch and gets downhill. He showed what he can do on defense with rebounding, collecting steals or getting a bunch of deflections.

[player_tooltip player_id='3574117' first='Cameron' last='Fong'] AZ College Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 15 EYCL) (Pictured)

A power forward is a newcomer for me. He has a thicker frame and the strong bodied player can score and defend. He is patient in the post and most effective near the basket to score. He will rebound and blocks shots and he is a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2855983' first='Kairo' last='Hamilton'] Carl Hayden ([program_tooltip program_id='2120446' first='AZ' last='STORM'] 16)

A scoring combo guard who can play on or off the ball. He will hesitate to get downhill to the basket and he is very elusive to the basket. He is very tough in transition with his speed and aggressive nature. He also digs in on defense with some twitch and length.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552782' first='Jaiden' last='Hong'] Chaparral ([program_tooltip program_id='2120446' first='AZ' last='STORM'] 16)

An undersized point guard with some serious speed and a super tight handle. He is always keeping his head up to facilitate to his teammates and uses a burst of speed to blow by. He will collect steals and puts a lot of pressure on the defense to pick him up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689901' first='Drew' last='Jolley'] Prescott ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 2028)

A long and taller post player comes in off the bench and immediately provides instant rim protection and defense. He will score it with lefty takes efficiently inside, run the court and he is a very good rebounder in and out of his area. He also moves well in space to defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194806' first='Zen' last='London'] Mountain Pointe ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 2028)

A physical two-way guard is a strong defensive minded player who consistently slows down his opponents. He is a natural downhill driver but he can shoot it from the perimeter and rebounds well for position. His overall toughness affects each outcome.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689898' first='Caden' last='Lozen'] Prescott ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16 UAA)

A long and fluid wing forward moves really well from end to end. He covers a lot of ground on the defensive end to play the 2-4 and he will take long strides to get to the basket and he will shoot the three off the catch. He is just scratching the surface.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407207' first='Malachi' last='Mims'] Pinnacle ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] 2027 UA Rise)

A tough physical combo guard who can play on or off the ball. He makes smart reads with the ball in his hands and will always make the extra pass. He is 3 and D type who will hit the open three and he makes his opponents uncomfortable up the court.
